Seperated into girls, guys and the whole team (both single-vote and multiple-vote on the last).

And if I missed anyone, too bad, they get a free pass [Wink]

[I included Andromeda on the "she may be coming back" basis]

Very interesting poll topic, SoM! I actually found myself struggling to think of Legionnaires to kill in the last question! I guess I'm a big softy for the current stock of Legion members...with one SUPER exception!

I know *that* feeling [Big Grin] (both on Kon and on not wanting to kill the rest)

Incidentally, you don't need to vote for 5 in the last Q - any no. between 1 and 5'll do. I emphasised it because people have a habit of not noticing when they have multiple votes and then getting annoyed when they realise [Smile]

You left out "none of the above." I don't "want" any of them to end up dead.

Some of them may very well have a dramatic, coherent, story-furthering, hopefully heroic demise, but that's not at all the same scenario.

The "None of the Above" option is not to vote at all.

My only problem with the poll is I can't give multiple votes to the same Legionnaire. [Big Grin]

It would have been very interesting to see the results if you had left out Kon, SoM. I think just about everyone wants to see HIM gone. Without him in the poll, it could easily change things around dramatically for the others.

You've got a point - between the "No Superboy but Clark" people, the "No Super-people in the Legion" (inc me) people and the "We just plain don't like Kon" people, he is kinda snookered, isn't he [Smile]

What really got me was that, in the early stages of voting, it was obvious that a few people had voted for characters in R3 (whole team, single vote) and NOT R4 (whole team, five votes). That was weird...

I was thinking of doing another round after this one closed anyway, cutting out the one-and-two vote people. I might do a "Kon-free" Q then... [Smile]

Right, I was planning to type up a brakedown, but gave up when I realised there was no decent way to format it. An Excel spreadsheet of the results can be found here

A few notes:

  • Kon "ran away" with this here - he was the "high scorer" in all three of the categories he was in.
  • KQ2 doesn't come out of this all that well - she came second in the multi-vote, top in the female round, and joint-third in the whole-team single vote round
  • Chuck was the one to split Kon & KQ2 (&co) in the whole team, single vote round. He also came third in the male round and joint-fourth in the multi-vote. I strongly suspect L31 hurt him here.
  • At the other end of the scale, Chameleon, Dreamer, M'Onel and Star Boy are the only absolutely safe four, with no votes at all.
  • Under "oddball" results, Triad & Imra both got more votes in the female round than the multi-vote round (indeed, Triad's only vote in all three of her categories was in the femme round). I suspect that a "you have to vote for someone" effect was in play here - and the person who voted for Lu and extra two people who voted for Imra would have ticked a "None of the Above" vote in the female round if one had been there.

Yay! Star Boy gets away without a single vote, proving that fans love Thom! [Star Boy]

(And probably ensuring his swift death by creators unaware of Thom's (ahem) star status...)

It's funny how Cham gets almost no love in the "Favorite Legionnaires" polls, and yet apparently no one want him dead. Do folks just really not care about him?

I think Cham's just like one of those kids in school whom seems nice and everybody knows by name, but nobody is really close to. Grife knows there are a lot of kids like that...

*Sigh*! Remember when DC used to listen to us fans on Legion World and kill of characters because we demanded it and stuff!

(Clearly the only reason Superboy was killed was because of his victory in this poll!) [Wink]
