I agree. I also don't like WaK because it sounds like "whack", like "Crack is Whack." If I was a creator on a book, I wouldn't want people to call it whack.

Yeah, I'm not warming to the term "WaK" either (how about "WaKit"? just kidding...). Steve Wacker might not mind it ...
We might just have to go to volume numbers - what is this? five? Maybe this is the "punk Legion" ... "the 75K"... maybe future issues will provide an appropriate moniker.

"Threeboot" would be descriptive without being pejorative, like "Archie Legion." It IS the third such continuity, broadly speaking.
"V5" is short, pithy, and also accurate, and will be what the Overstreet Guide uses to describe it.

WaK is the creative team.
v5 is the series itself, which may or may not outlast WaK.
What we need is a good name for the continuity, which will likely outlast the v5 moniker, if one can infer from the previous two continuities. "Threeboot" sounds reasonable to me.

Nah, call them the "Grandpa" Legion. As in "this is not your grandpa's Legion" and "Eat it, grandpa!"

Interesting question. I would lean toward WaK, if only because I tend to define eras by their creators ("Levitz era", "TMK", "DnA") rather than volumes (I get confused). Threeboot is growing on me, however.
