So is threeboot within current DC continuity? Is that what Identity Crisis and Infinite Crisis is all about, and attempt to shoehorn threeboot into current DCU continuity?

I'm confused...

Mark Waid assures us that this is THE DCU future (or will be after Infinite Crisis). At present, its one of countless alternate timelines.

Infinite Crisis we have no idea what it really is.

Power Girl is somehow linked to Waid Legion.

Noooo! Say it ain't so! I was hoping that this was going to remain a hypertimeline, and the Levitz Legion was the real DCU future...

I guess I better let that hope fade away.

How do we know Power Girl is related to Waid's Legion? I don't think I got the memo.
