I KNOW!!! It's 57F here (14C?), at 9am... There's a coldfront forecast to move through with high winds today into tonight, but no sign of wintery weather 'til the weekend or later.

Not that I'm really complaining, mind...

Bah! Sometimes I wish my job let me outdoors all day. Then I remember my summer jobs during college that my blue collar father made sure I got a taste of: roofing, demolition, construction, furniture moving. So maybe I shouldn't wish that.

She, on the other hand is perfect. She's Hispanic like my dad, has a Russian-sounding nickname (my mom's side of the family is mostly Russian), I loved her songs as a kid, love them even more today, and she has a song that goes:

En el vuelo circular
Del pendulo del tiempo
Hago a vueltas sin cesar...

Rough translation:

In the circular flight
