It was my pleasure to meet and share a meal with Kent and Miner today. We disproved the hypothesis that any gathering of three or more Legion Worlders would result in public drunkenness or public nudity. We all remained fully sober and fully dressed.

Everyone exhibited gentlemanly behavior and good table manners. That's the truth. This is Washington, DC. People would not lie about that sort of thing here. Really.

From the title of the thread I was almost certain I was going to see pics of Legion Worlders getting lap dances somewhere like Big Wally's House of Poles. Possibly by a stripper dressed like the Emerald Empress.

I was mistaken and so I shall move on.

(glad you guys had fun...even if it was civilized)

The truth? Well, you would say that, wouldn't you?

It was so civilized and un-LW-like that I truly was not sure it was really Lad Boy until I saw this post here.

But then, he has only my word that it was the real Miner.

Evidence to the contrary notwithstanding, let's credit the unLegion Worldly civility to the pranksterish malfunctioning of a rogue Lad Boy robot. Clearly plausible since the real Lad Boy was certainly alone in his office poring over ERISA and the IRC to prepare for a regulatory drafting. meeting at 1:00. Ram Boy, drop me a line if you're coming to DC some time.

Wait, you ate lunch with Kent and ....who?

That wasn't you?

Good. I don't feel so bad about sneezing on your quiche while the fake-you was visiting the loo.

And the rogue Lad Boy robot won't be vulnerable to the tapeworm segments the fake Miner sprinkled on its soup.
