That's the tension that drives the drama! Characters so naturally at odds with one another... can they put aside their differences to... do whatever it is they're supposed to be doing?

Hmmm... I can see Saucy, Shirley, Philippe and Laser Ape as a sort of Super-Fantasic Four... of space, with Murdermaton as the "Dr. Doom" type... this could kick SO much ass as a spoof of Marvel Comics...

Every time I see this thread name, I keep thinking "What about Shirley Jones?".

To expand upon my Super-Fantasic 4 of Space theory:
Laser-Ape is, of course, our THE THING analogue.
Phillipe the super-hairdresser... of space!, being super-gay and narciccistic, is our HUMAN TORCH analogue... he can even run around yelling "Flame on!" whenever he uses his space-blowdryer.
Matronly, domestic Shirley (formerly the Legion's space-maid) is our INVISIBLE GIRL analogue.
Saucy Jones, being the funky brains of the outfit (and quite the inventor-ess) is definitely the MR. FANTASTIC analogue.
