The top five have already been chosen, but the competition won't begin until the Male Model winner has been announced.

Alright, I've gotta tell you guys....
I watched Tyra's America's Next Top Model tonight, and one of the challenges they gave the models was the EXACT thing I had planned for the XGF's!!! I actually could not believe it.

The models got to grab hair extensions but didn't know that their photoshoot was going to be a nude picture. My idea for the XGF's was precisely that, but my pictures were going to be in black and white (grey tones) and there'd be those really dark smokey eyes with pale lips. Naturally, no private parts would show.
I honestly had that idea earlier today and actually began sketching! Now I feel like I shouldn't use the idea. I'm trying to be as original as I can.

By the way, I have no problem if Luii was a ringer. (I haven't read the story, so I can't say.) It wouldn't be the first time in the Legion Family, you know. And lots of everyday guys and gals meet their S.O. at work.
Luii acknowledged the allegation but nimbly declined to answer. This one's clever and somewhat intriguing, but got my vote out just on the basis of the image.
An additional note regarding Iresa: maybe Superboy didn't deserve that free pass you gave him, but you seem like a happy, upbeat lass, so perhaps it's just not your style to get worked up over dumb stuff. And it's cute that both you and Chuck remember each other fondly!

Ayla, love the hair sideways and upside down! It only makes sense that there's antigrav hairstylists in the 31st century.

I notice that someone determined them to not be suitable to look at at work. I don't wish to create any discomfort in that way. However, the pictures are not blatantly sexual and no private parts show. In fact, some comic character costumes are more revealing than what is shown in this "photo essay."

Hmm... my expectation going into this round was that Sinde would be next on the chopping block, but she definitely lucked out by getting this particular challenge at this point in the game.
Nila's mega-hot as always, so it comes down to Janice or Iresa.

I made the choice to put the Zero Hour treatment on the Top Four Challenge! Here's my statement at that thread...

Here are my thoughts on Sinde.... I thought she was a true innocent. No, not very bright. I figure she wasn't encouraged to develop her mind. I figure she had a mother who was very beautiful in her day, and encouraged her daughter to use her looks, like she did. Unfortunately, this lead her to have an unhealthy relationship with food, exercise and an obsession with the Cellular Trim Ray. With a rockin' body and universally adored blonde hair, no one noticed that Sinde always seemed to have a gaunt look. She hid that behind a lot of cosmetics and a big, dumb grin.
Her only goal in life was to get married and to never have to work. However, after being seen out with Cosmic Boy, she was contacted by the ad agency that was in charge of the Zipper account, and she was made their spokesmodel (this was seen in Who's Who in the LSH, I think #7). She was independently wealthy.
In my Legion fanfic world, Sinde caught the eye of a famous batball player, married him, and spawned the next generation of batball players... 9 boys! She has been either pregneant or recovering from pregneancy her entire adult life. What may have been considered a backwards attitude about men has actually served her very well in raising 9 boys. They are all perfect young gentlemen and want to be just like their father.

In fairness to Janice, I fixed her neck so it isn't as oddly long. That wasn't her fault, it was the art director's (me!).
However, there is always *something* to sway the vote, so maybe this is the edge brought about this vote....

This competition was great fun. I think it's amazing that characters that only have a single issue or even a single *panel* in an issue of a Legion comic can be so beloved. I like being part of adoring them.
Impress the Empress will be my main focus now, but I do have another pinup model challenge in mind....
