Lash's recent discussion at the toon forum has inspired me to throw down a quick Holo Model tournament: BOMBSHELL!
I will create kick nass holos for five heavy hitting lasses. They will be doing something kewl, not girly icky, but looking good.
Votes will determine the top two, who will be depicted in a battle against Imperiex. Votes will determine the BOMBSHELL!

Random thoughts about this contest...
I'm thinking our hosts will be Grayam & Garridan Ranzz. What if they received a bin full of Legion figures? Which girl ones would they like? Which ones would they discard as ICKY?
Parameters: If these figures are to be accepted, and not disposed of as "dolls" they must be kewl.
1. No fluff--- if they have too much hair, too much drapery, too much jewelry, too much make-up, etc, this must be modified. But... they can't be ugly either!
2. Skin--- they mustn't show too much! It makes the boys think about things they aren't ready to think about, which makes them uncomfortable, and want to lash out. If a current costume shows much skin, it must be modified.
3. Power--- these female characters must work harder than the average male action hero to simply gain acceptance. Great feats of strength, awesome special effects, crackling energy!
4. GEAR--- utilitiy belts, armor, goggles, helmets, and dare I say it... weapons! All things that impress the lil' bratling darlings.
Any other thoughts?

i'm noticing a lot of girls from the reboot...
Kinetix was one of my favorites before they shut her up and stole her brain and stuff. let's see her after she got over the Eye and changed her costume ever 3 issues!
XS . please. pretty, pretty please.
and i think Shadow Lass is a must. we should just declare her winner as she probably is the only "consistent" legion girl that hasn't shown up in the series ("consistent" = has been around in all boots, reboots, 3boots, toonboots, and so forth...)

Alright, I'm instantly eliminating all blondes(Andy more that fills that role and the bratlings don't need another "Barbie" type to cringe over). that leaves: Dawnstar Teen Lantern Sensor Kid Quantum II XS
Dawny's wings make her too angel-ish for the boys. Sensor's too non human, which obviously means she should be a villain.
It's between Jordana, KQ2 and XS.
I choose KQ2!

The first round competition sketches are done. This has been really interesting for me because I tend to create the kind of imagery that the bratlings do find icky. So, restraining myself has been fun.
I feel since this competition is going to go quickly, that non-elimination introduction holos are in order. I also need to draw our young hosts.

I agree Kinetix doesn't look as hard-hitting as the rest, what with the pose, but I can't help but vote for her.
All the others got my attention, but there's just something about Jaz. Shady has a more dynamic pose though. Oh, tough!

Shady (they made it work with Raven, in the Teen Titans) and Kid Quantum 2 ('cause there's that demographic thing).
Monstress, all muscular and buff, might sexually confuse the little tykes. Some constipated citizen might clutch their pearls and complain to the network.

I assume that 31st century action figures are made from some sort of hologram/hard light techy stuff, making them super awesome to accessorize/dress up. Also, the material would be choke proof and otherwise safe for sentientlings. Therefore, yes, young Dacey and Doritt could receive their own Legion action figures to play with.
