We've been discussing Legion Worlds over the last 50 years. Some we've seen a lot of, some just a little or not at all.
Since I've been posting some ideas for Cargg as a world and society for March (with a little on the Bizarro adopted home world, Ventura and others on the animal and money threads, as well,) I thought I'd start a thread on Legion Worlds, in general.
We have the comics and Source Books, Who's Who and many other sources, including our imaginations.
I hope others will want to post their findings and ideas here, too.
Enjoy!
First off - Braal during a winter magnetic storm. All building materials are non-magnetic conductors or heavily shielded. This house is wooden and build with a natural forest storm break (how I'd imagine they live.)
The second locaton is one of the areas on Mysa's Palace grounds. This world, and palace, were formally claimed by Mordru, the Dark Lord. The magics seen here are a celebration and a cleansing process initiated by Mysa and the surviving teachers:
This is Karak, a once living world who's blue white sun destroyed with a tongue of flame millions of kilometers long, seering life from the planet. Chemicals and heat, deep in the planets core have started to release gases, slowly recreating an atmosphere.

Talok VIII ~ a very rare moment, Tasmia at one of the very few above ground, tidal seas on her home planet. In honor of her ancient family's service to the people of Talok, it's called The Mallorian Sea of Shadows:

I imagine Starhaven like this on a cold winter night in the deep north or far south, very like Earth. No one flies in this weather, especially at night, because of frost buildup on their wings. There's just a hint of the dense star formations normally seen in Starhaven skys.

The 'world within a world' has always intregued me. Here's a first look on this thread, at what it might be like to go from one reality to another, from Earth to Bgtzl, and back again:

Please take the time to check this one out! It's just my kind of vision of the universe and art.
The same artist did the butterly windmills that I posted on the Starsearchers fan art thread.
This is another 'light' world and rich in oxygen and carbon dioxide(like MLLASH's 'bug world), small, with very light gravity, evident not only in the floating seaship and docking petals(love that idea) but in the body structure of the natives.
I think it's a living moon, so I'm going to call it Titan, the home of Saturn Girl:
And it was originally posted by ja_ja_eshe_ra, and might even be that person's work, which is rare at this site.

Larry Niven's books fascinate me. I'd love a Ring World Legionnaire!

Bgtzl is like Earth, only not quite as populated with many ancient, native forests and rivers.
Here's an excellent place that Tinya visits for relaxation and regeneration of her spirit. The technoworld that Earth has become can often drain it's people, and defenders, of that energy.

I changed the colors and then frescoed the results (or visa versa!)

Pre-explosion Titan, Tethys and Saturn. Titan was Imra Ardeen's homeworld. What a spectacular night sky to fall asleep under!

I think the Trom ones and the ringworld children's park are my favourites...
I remember writing a big essay once ages ago about how certain things in Bgtzl would work, concepts of privacy and that sort of thing. I will have to see if I can dig it up for this thread!

Wonderful!
I'm sorry so many are gone. I can only hope that photobucket restores the Fantasy album that I pulled so many of the pictures from for this thread .
If they won't, I'll try to repair things with some new things.
