. . . I registered on the DC Comics Message Board as He Who Wanders. I had no idea that, a decade later, I'd still be using that name (or a variation of it) and posting with the same community of fans, many of whom have become friends.
As Jerry Garcia said, what a long strange trip it's been--but well worth it!
Thanks, everyone, for making the LMBP, in all of its iterations, such a fun place to hang out!

And you've kept your figure, too! How many of us can say the same after ten years of web surfing and scarfing down junk food all the time?!

I owe my good looks to the grace of God, vigorous exercise, and Gorilla Nebula, who created the Sun Boy avatar!

How do ya remember the date? Since DC completely dumped the old version, all of that information is kablooey! For instance, I have absolutely NO idea how many posts I made on the old DC Boards!

Lardy: Some years ago, someone posted a link to old DCMB threads. I found my first post--a rather self-conscious introduction on a thread asking us to identify ourselves--and remembered the date for future reference. I'm kinda anal in that way.
(Incidentally, Lardy, I also remember you being on that tread. I believe you claimed that your real name was Loser Lad as a nod to Lou!)
Rick: I'm partly responsible for you being here?! I take that as a great compliment.

Happy 10 years and growing there HWW(L)!
The last ten years just seemed to have whipped by for me too. It's nice to reflect back though isn't it? May we all enjoy another 10 safe and healthy/happy years and more ...

He Who, you three had such fun over on the DCMB's back then, and I think I saw a mention of Legionworld. I followed a link I think it was and here I am.
At the time I had no idea that Reep would have the troubles he had here and be gone in a couple of years, but to me anyway, he was a fun, cool poster. I've since seen the problems he had with one individual (That Which I Refuse To Name Anymore) and understand how things went downhill.
But, as I read this place, it reminded me of Callahan's, only online with just as cool a bunch of folks and I found myself liking it better here than the DCMB's, though I frequent both.
You, Mllash, and a few others made this a great place to be for me. Glad you take it as a compliment, it was surely intended as one.

I think you had maybe 100 - 200 posts...tops. And that was just in one of our inanae threads back there. Ther is part of me that is glad that we cannot have combined post counts for all the places we've been. The top ten would look vastly different though, and Loser would probably still be top 5.
