a while ago i was trapped by a snow storm. a very bad snow storm that had me trapped at my house with my parents in winter with no power for a few days and let me tell you there was a lot of snow to shove when the trees go down in your drive way so the plow can't come in and the snow blower brakes and you have to shovel it all trust me snow sucks, this is me in my pjs, my south park Halloween had and my winter jacket on top of snow mountain

The pic above is hosted on facebook...the issue was that you weren't linking to the image directly. In order to find the actual image link, right click on it (in Firefox and "View Image") and (in I.E. choose "Properties" and then copy the "Address" found there) and paste the url within the [img] tags.

That's not actually the pic I linked to in that post though. That post was originally linked to a pic I was using as my then main profile pic but I just changed it to the one we can see there. Wish I knew how to upload a pic of myself on here to share with you guys. I've tried to add as an attachment but I can't seem to do it in this "message" format.
I don't have the know-how, plus add to that my short fuse and impatience with stuff like that and you've got a prescription for failure.

I don't think either site adds a program to your computer.
Just remember those sites are available for you when you feel like trying them. I would say initially, it will seem hard, but you will be able to master the basics of the sites pretty easily.

Seems like Google+ has the right idea with it's myriad and easily adjusted levels of privacy. Once the bugs are worked out and it actually, you know, works.

Yes, it's a beautiful place. We had a great time. It was a difficult trip but we're very proud that we were able to do it. We learned the story of how the town got its name. It was originally settled by a man named Schnedly -- which was originally proposed as the name. At the last minute, though, he changed the paperwork to name the town after his wife, Sedona. So, the dog shares her name with a beautiful frontier wife!

I wouldn't get too comfortable with Facebook if you're concerned about privacy. Every time they change things a whole bunch of stuff gets set to "public" and if you aren't keeping an eye on it re-lock it under the new setting options your pics may be seen until you get around to it or some kind soul lets you know.

I used to have another one that I loved, my aunt and uncle and cousin got me one for xmas but I lost it in a move ... It didn't look as much like a mullet as this one.
I think the faux fur on the top of this one just goes way too high so it looks like a wig instead of a hat! It's pretty funny though.

I'm back from my summer vacation down to the Bonnaroo Music Fest in Tennessee where I got totally burnt...

It was a fantastic time where Mrs. Nihil and I were able to check out:
My favorite new band, The Alabama Shakes; an awesome intimate acoustic set with Colin Hay; Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings; Feist; Rodrigo y Gabriela (just insanely awesome Mexican guitarists); Radiohead (one of my favorite bands, but... eh... sort of better studio artists than live performers, I'm sad to say); Blind Pilot; Santigold (who I think I'm actually in love with... just soooo good); the Roots; Skrillex; and the Red Hot Chili Peppers (who - shhh... don't tell anyone - we actually saw earlier in the day checking out a few shows in disguise).
So much fun, just camping out and getting all grass-roots, but "roughing it" sometimes isn't all it's cracked up to be, as evidenced by three words...

Unfortunately, no. The vet said that because Pippin's a smaller dog, he doesn't recommend surgery yet. We've got to keep him off his leg for a month and see if it heals on its own, before we bring him back. So, basically, 30 days of babying him.
