Because I just Survivor games, and because summer vacation is just around the corner, I decided to make one in which we vote for our all-time favorite Legionnaire!
I've included preboot, postboot and 5 year gap members, plus reservists and honorary members. Ditto with the Subs and Super Pets since they were inducted into the Legion reserve. I didn't include any of the members who joined under false pretnses (Command Kid, Dynamo Boy), though. Would you guys prefer that I did? I've posted the list so far below:

Round 1 has officially ended! And the Big 5 (no, I'm not talking about our 5 co-leaders ) are:
BEPPO, who gets the boot with 8 votes. Dogs, cats, horses and telepathic blobs are one thing, but power-hungry little monkeys are quite another!
ATMOS apparently beats Kid Quantum (James) for the title of jerkiest Legionnaire as he gets bumped off the list with 6 votes!
And the Khundian crew get major hits as BLOOD CLAW gets a dishonorable discharge with 7 votes and FIREFIST and VEILMIST both get votes! I guess they really regret taking their marriage vows now, huh?

re: James - I don't really have any strong feelings one way or the other about him but I don't really get why anyone would hate him. Surely its not just because he was a bit arrogant. I found his personality to be kind of refreshing compared to the squeaky-clean cookie-cutter 'tudes of the rest of the team. He was at least 'different' and every team needs someone like that for the rest of them to play off. At least, IMO.

I always thought James was one of the most hated Legionnaires, but I guess people don't hate him as much as I thought. He's far from popular, certainly, but I sure was wrong. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Blacula.

And this marks the end of Round 3, as the following are booted off of Legion World and into a rift of their own:
With 6 votes, the Legion quicky gets rid ofIVY so they won't be sued for reckless child endangerment. Also, PETE ROSS gets re-retconned yet again. And yes, that last statement was awfully redundant.
With 5 votes, the last Khundian is eliminated as FLEDERWEB gets his wings clipped. I sure hope the Khunds aren't sore losers...
With 4 votes, poor STORM BOY just can't seem to find a loophole in the "no external powers" clause.
Finally, 4 characters tied with 3 votes each, but voting in previous rounds determined that KID QUANTUM (JAMES) just can't beat his sister. Of course, there's no telling if said sister will last for much longer, since we all know how popular she has been lately.

Hmm. Now the question is do I vote of the characters I don't like or just the ones I don't know? I suppose the lesser known characters are going to go first anyways, so I'll go with ones I don't like but are big time stars just to be vicious.

Just wanted to point out that less total votes means a better chance of ties. That could make thing interesting...

1. Ultra Boy (his character has really suffered in the reboot IMO)
2. Shikari (hate her costume. hate her stupid cutesy "green-Legion", "large-Legion" stuff as well as that cliched 'naive alien' stereotupe personality she's been given. and hate the fact that she's an inferior version of Dawnstar who we are now never likely to see.)

Well... I've never really thought about it before, and this is the first time it's come up... Editing of posts is suually only done if someone accidentally voted for too many, too few o or someone not on the list anymore. I'd be inclined to discourage it, though, but as for not allowing it... With 4 votes, KARATE KID gets a one-way ticket back to Steeple. But I'm sure he's spiritually enlightened enough to be a good sport.

A pretty interesting list, combining Legionnaires from almost all eras of the Legion, including quite a few underdogs, while some of the more well-known longtimers like Saturn Girl, Ultra Boy, Brainiac 5, Apparition, Element Lad, Colossal Boy and others are gone. I've got to say that this list is one of the more interesting I've ever seen. I like the way you people think! (That said, can I please include Kinetix? Pretty please? Just kidding )

Some more observations:
-Only 4 characters have still not gotten a single vote during the whole game. It shouldn't be too hard to figure them out...
-Naturally, a great majority of the characters were created duringthe Adventure run, but quite a few were created during the Cockrum and Levitz eras as well, and two are reboot-only characters.
-Proving that Legion World is not chauvinistic, 10 of the finalists are female. There are also quite a few distinctly alien characters on the list as well.

With 21 Legion Worlders weighing in for this, the final round, we have the following results...
MON-EL returns to the Phantom Zone with 16 votes.
Because of a tie for the second elimination, the votes from the previous round were factored in. And thus STAR BOY returns to the past as Danny Blaine because he received 13 votes.
