Anyone else pick this up? I enjoyed it. Ms. Lion and Redwing were particularly fun, I thought. So was Streaky-- er, Hairball. Throg's cute. Lockheed's all tragic and bitter-- I hope he snaps out of it!
I hope Lockjaw gets to 'voice' his thoughts the way the other animals do (through the influence of the 'mind gem', the first of the Infinity Gems that the animals are questing-- pretty serious 'macguffin' for a fun animal group in terms of importance to the Marvel Universe).
I actually prefer this grouping to the traditional Legion of Super-Pets that everyone and their mother are comparing them to because they come from such different corners of the MU, rather than all being Krypton-centric (boring!)
Y'know- I'll bet Lockjaw has adventures like this all the time.

I saw this but passed on it. It looked cute enough, but I had a big enough order already that month.
But they're on a quest for the gems?! Between those and Lockheed, now I HAVE to check this out.
(as an aside, my friends have an English Bulldog and I learned from them the breed can't really clean their own rears properly-- it's the owner's responsibility to maintain their cleanliness. Do you think Lockjaw just teleports his own butt in front of himself to do a better job? )

Ms. Lion kicks ass! No wait, SNIFFS ass. Heh! Sorry. I love how Ms. Lion has no "powers". Heh heh heh! Redwing is an ass (and I don't mean donkey) but I still love him.
Throg rawks. And I would buy a Hairball solo series.
My highest kudos to MARVEL for risk-taking (and succeeding!!).

I really enjoyed the series! (Yes, it hurts a li'l to admit that. Shh.) I especially loved the cat with Speedball's powers! Like, w-t-f, mate? He was so mean to Ms. Lion but <i>hilarious</i>! AND ZABU! WIN! Devil Dinosaur made an appearance and everything! Plus Lockjaw who is <i>awesome</i>, of course! (How much did I love him and Ben Grimm in The Thing's series? SO MUCH!)
Gosh, it was just really fun. I can't wait to see more of their adventures. Not to mention that the art was good-- realistic, y'know?-- and Lockheed was so sad. I really felt for him. Poor li'l guy misses Kitty. (Don't we all though.)
