A mixed bag, but still fun. The art was beautiful but didn't always convey the story movement extremely well (compare Mosrrison's tight script in the back to the execution and you can see some ideas were lost).
I also thought the metaphor for Manifest Destinty and the Native Americans was a little too on the nose, even without Sonnenfeld spelling it out in the introduction.
Those quibbles aside, it was still dinosaurs fighting each other and then aliens, with lots of Morrison touches on each of the characters along the way. The extras were cool and the concept can't help but make you smile. I just hope the next installment goes further.
