Given the often dramatic reactions of both allies and adversaries (and, occasionally, hapless 'NPCs'), I suspect that Phoenix's power signature was very visible.
The 'pink stuff' that looked like puffy clouds of cotton candy that they tended to draw when she used her telekinesis, I assumed was not visible...
Given the questionable uses of telekinesis by Imra in Legion 1, it seems that making some sort of 'signature' for telekinesis is a useful too. Imra putting her hands to her temples and stuff happening is too obscure, IMO.

I always loved the "giant transparent floating head appears" representation of telepathy. See also Firestorm, with Professor Stein's tranparent floating head.

The starfield on Captain Mar-Vell's face when he used his cosmic awareness. Not sure if Starlin meant it as a visible manifestation of CM's power, but I believe it was visible when Genis-Vell's C-A was on all the time during PAD's second Captain Marvel run...

That's funny - I could've sworn I posted a reply here, but anyhoo - what I had said was:
WILDFIRE - love me some Kirby dots! They really convey energy in a way that seems barely contained and seething with power.
HAVOK - those circles were a cool design element.
And out of left field: VIDEO MAN - yes, that villain from the "Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends" cartoon! It was just a series of rectangles, but they were as cool as staring at the dashed lines on the freeway as you're driving down the road.
