I gotta hit the other shop today, if they have 1, I'll get it...then set aside the rest to gather over the next few weeks.

I picked up issue #12 this week ... first issue I've read ... the art was beautiful, and the exchange between PG and Vartox and the other alien was hysterical ... if the earlier issues are available in a TPB, maybe I'll add it to the long list of stuff I'm hoping to pick up cheap In San Diego ...

I believe Amanda's next project is a Black Cat miniseries at Marvel starting up very soon. This was something I probably would have passed on but with Amanda Conner art, I'll probably end up getting it. (Wanted to share for any Amanda Conner completists).

Yeah and verily, woe blankets the land. Our Fairest Maiden (Okay, maybe not...look, just work with me here, people), she of the most bountyest...well, she most bountyous...will be with me no more after aforementioned said Issue, that which is 12.
As befitting a regal creature of epic Mae West proportions, her story is at an end for me. It was a great story, yeah and true, and twas enjoyed, most especially this last issue, but all good things must end, or at least be turned over to creators I have no interest in reading. And so, I must bid our fair haired Damsel Not in Dat Dress adieu...until the next issue of JSA.
I really did enjoy the story. Amanda's art was outstanding to say the least. I'm just sorry the story ends here for me. Still, with the price increases I've heard coming down the pike, this is a great way to whittle down my pull.

Every panel of Amanda Conner's art thrills me!! So clean & simple but packed with details! She gave PGs cat so much personality, it's amazing. I remember singing her praises just before the JSA Power Girl spotlight came out because people on this board weren't familiar with her stuff. I'm so glad everyone now recognizes her brilliance!

Didn't see another thread for PG, so I thought I'd start one.
I never thought I'd say this about a Judd Winnick comic, but I'm really liking this title. The characters are fun, but the title's no longer campy and has a cool storyline with good dialogue. Winnick seems to be successfully avoiding using obvious juvenile humour (whereas Palmiotti's run felt like one big running boob joke).
The last issue with Karen and Superman working together was great and even Clark seemed to be written well.
Definitely adding this one to the pull list.

Weird, The Search feature didn't yield that one up. I'll see if I can get them merged.

The most recent issue, which featured guest-starring turns by Superman and Zatanna was all kinds of fun. And a good story, to boot.
