1) Power Slide is like sidewalk surfing (or fence surfing ) Kinda fun but no improvement if you have SS or Flight
2) Cape of the Four Winds is like a shear, see through curtain with points at the bottom. Scott took pics of Mysa with it for all of you to see. Look nice on female chars but I wouldn't bother for males
3) the VIP badge is just a badge, no help for endurance or anything else.

For example, Blue & Gungir from Triumph, with Condo, Grev, & Tas from Virtue, and Peppermint Patty from Freedom, etc all at the same time in one SG

Here's a reply by one of the Devs (CuppaJo) to this exact same question on the CoH boards:

To be clear-
How it started:
We decided to make a special "collectors edition" DVD. Included are the special in-game items and statesman heroclix.
When we did this, the community asked to be able to purchase the special in-game items and heroclix apart from the game DVD.
In response we are creating a "special items box" (not its official name) that contains the in-game items and the heroclix at a price lower than that of the DVD. I do not know how much this "special items box" is going to be yet. I also do not know when it will be available for purchase.
Cryptic and NCsoft not rewarding long-time players? CoV beta. Those first time players who get the DVD are not going to have as great of a chance to get in beta as you, the long-time player.
Cryptic and NCsoft greed based? If we were greed based we would make you buy the whole DVD to get the items instead of making a lower-cost alternative available to you.

But here's the pic of me as Scooby during Mysa's cape mission on Halloween while I was fighting bad guys between groups of trick-or-treaters.
The office isn't usually quite this messy, but all the boxes and stuff from the decorations just get tossed in there, and it fills up quick.

The Test server is back up and I've started the SG "Legion of Message Board Posters and Legion World Heroes" Sign on when you can so I can induct all of your heroes.

I just logged in and it said you weren't there. Are you still on? And it what city?

quote:Originally posted by Vee: After last night I've been thinking how it's a shame we don't play our chars on other servers together more often, although we do seem to solo them quite a bit based on their levels.
We also have other LW posters that play CoH but have never (or rarely) been part of the the LW teams because their heroes (or preferred chars) are on servers other than those in which we have our main Legion groups such as Danny Blaine, Director Lad, Maegenbrand, UltraStar, Pex, Patch, Comic Addict Lad (who actually first posted about CoH on LW and started all of this) and others.
So I have a suggestion to make...
Why don't we designate each day of the week for a different server. That way, if you're looking to just play instead of work on a particular char, you know you're likely to find some of us there.
I for one always have much more fun when I'm teamed with you guys thatn soloing or teaming with random players.
I really like the idea, Vee. It creates an easy place to find each other if we feel like it... just go on and see who's there instead of having to log on and post your plans. Join or not it becomes much eaiser.
I've gone and tried to consolidate all the lists and here are my observations.
It seems like the two servers we have the least on are Champion, Victory, Liberty and Justice (hmmmm) so perhaps those can go on backup days until we decide we like our chacters there more. There's a little more activity on Truimph, Guardian, Freedom, Protector and Pinnacle so perhaps they'll share their day with one of the above. Then there's Virtue and Infinity, where we spend the most time grouped.
Course those observations seem moot depending on how off the combined list is... levels are way off, and that's how I judged server activity. Also since a bunch of us haven't posted our lists, there are a bunch of gaps.
My ideaso for a schedule -- Being our biggest servers Virtue and Infinity get wednesdays. Since Pinnacle and Freedom seem so busy, perhaps they should take up friday or monday, to give a day's break from Legion night. Guardian and Protector would share Tuesdays and Thursdays, since we have a lot of people with characters there that don't have Virtue or Infinity characters.
'cept I just forgot about Triumph.
Anyway, here's a draft of where my thinking was going, perhaps, next to Vee's schedule we'll come up with some good ideas.
quote: So here's my suggested preliminary schedule. Feel free to object, denounce, amend, etc:
Mondays: alternate between Guardian, Victory, and Champion with assorted heroes on each.
Tuesdays: alternate between Pinnacle (contains JSA and the Buffy group plus assorted other heroes) and Triumph (Blue's crew plus assorted heroes)
Wednesdays: alternate Legion Night on Virtue & Infinity. (This night seems to work best for getting the largest group together)
Thursdays: alternate between Freedom (Peanuts, the CoH Mythos crew, and where the other large Legion group we discovered last week calls home, plus assorted other heroes) and Justice
Friday: alternate between Protector (contains Legion of Super Protectors & the Gilligans Island crew plus assorted independant heroes) & Liberty (Titans plus assorted other heroes)
Weekends would be a left "open" and likely used for TFs & special groupings.
Just bumping the list so we don't have to go back 15 pages to find it.

I create a folder called COH-test?
Do I put it as a subfolder in my COH or do I make it a completely secondary folder?
I copy everything from COH and put it in the COH-test folder?
And then I rename the COH.EXE file? To what?
DO NOT put it under CoH.
Make it a separate folder. Copy everything in the CoH folder to the CoH-test folder. Then rename the new CoHupdater.exe to CohUpdater.exe" -test (exactly as I've typed it or just copy & paste it from here)
Then be sure to create a shortcut for it called CoH test server (or whatever you want to call it that will distinguish it from your regular one.
That should allow you to log on to the test server. You'll probably have to wait for an update the first time you do but it shouldn't be too long.
