I haven’t seen this perennial DCMB topic yet at Legion World, so here it is!
My selections have shuffled a bit since my last list. But still, the Adventure era stories remain my favorites. As always, these are my favorites, your mileage will vary, probably greatly.

-- Great Darkness Saga -- Lost Legionnaires: no, not the DnA story, but the preboot story with Jo, Tinya, Vi, Reep and I can't remember who else battling Tyr and the Controller's doomsday machine thing (with Dawnstar going trough hell trying to find them) -- Emerald Empress' (Sarya) last stand against the whole Legion then being taken down by Sensor Girl who inadvertedly kills her. -- Jo's dead! No, he's alive and a pirate! No, he's dead again! No, he's alive!! -- The beginning of TMK where they rebuild the Legion highlighted by the dinner with Mordru and the showdown with Roxxas -- Legion Lost -- the whole story -- awesome! -- The Conspiracy! -- Who is Sensor Girl?? -- Insane Brainiac! Omega run amok! -- Earthwar! -- Terra Mosaic -- Go Subs, go!!
I think that's 11 -- oh well...

Oh, heck. There have been so many good, bad, and ugly ones over the years, it's hard to choose 10 REALLY good ones . . .
In no particular order, because it would make my brain hurt:
Mordru in Smallville Great Darkness Saga The Infinite Man Escape of the Fatal 5 The End of the Legion The TMK alternate reality with Rond, Mysa, and Ferro Lad as resistance fighters against Mordru Garth as Proty--Legion reunion story Supergirl et al. vs. Emerald Empress The Ghost of Ferro Lad The Trial of Brainiac 5

1. Mordru the Merciless (Adventure) 2. Fatal Five (Adventure) 3. The Universo story in which Imra-Brainy-Nura-Cham are imprisoned 4. The Conspiracy 5. The Magic Wars 6. The refounding of the Legion (TMK) 7. The Khund War (TMK) 8. Earth Liberation from Dominators 9. The confrontation with Glorith on Khundia 10. The Brainy in Takron-Galtos/ meets his Mom storyline
Certainly lots more, but these were top of mind this morning.
That wasn't too painful. D'oh I forgot the Legion Annual #1 with Computo. And then there was the first Sun Eater/Fatal Five story. I can't belive I didn't find a place for the LSV War, and LSH#300, and the Chu Sting.

Tyroc joins the Legion 4. Anything with Lori Morning 3. Lightning Lad is really Proty (though I enjoyed Legion reunion) 2. Dark Circle Rising (postboot) 1. Legion on the Run

I'm reluctant to do a ten worst list primarily because after 45 years there's a helluva lot to pick from! I mean after over 600 stories it's easier to pick the ten worst years for Legion than just stories!
But, anyway, let's see some more ten favorites list!

Since people are throwing in bad stories as well:
-- Legion on the Run -- some of the bland "Archie Legion" stories in "Legionnaires" that put me off the series that I can't even remember right now -- Almost anything wih Starfinger -- post TMK Khund war
