Author Topic: Teen Titans LOST ANNUAL MLLASH bite into the all-caps posted                       Lots of Titansy goodness lately. The $5 pricetag might make some cringe, but Allred doing the inks was an easy sell for me. I started it last night but got sleepy before I finished it. I likes: *Continuity be damned. This is firmly set in the 60s. *our special Presidential guest-star was cool! *the super-mod aliens! *fun 60s sterotypes, like leaving the useless female team member behind (in this case, Aqualad) while all the more important/powerful members go off into space. Also, Wonder Girl's being teased about her crush... very 60s! Now if only she'd use her rarely-seen power of knowing wether someone is truly evil or not by the color of their eyes... *Nick Cardy cover! And all this just a few pages in. Wonder Girl makes out with, becomes engaged to and breaks up with a violator, adding to her own list of questionable boyfriends. I saw the surprise presidential twist coming a mile away, but it was still sort of feel-good in its own weird way.
