The Puerto Princesa Underground River, one of the Philippines' UNESCO World Heritage sites, is also one of the New7Wonders of Nature. Besides containing an "underground" river with plenty of stalactites, the park is also known for its high biodiversity.

Althought the parking lot at the grocery store was full at 4:30 PM on Thanksgiving Eve, and I spent $51, it was still, surprisingly, one of the quickest grocery stops I've ever had.

I had two different temp jobs this week, both of which involved being around/standing in for people who'd picked up the first "super-flu" of the season.

Despite popular belief, the Great Wall of China cannot be seen from space. Although things like airport runways can be seen from a low altitude orbit (180 miles up), the Great Wall blends in with the surrounding earth and cannot be seen.

A drop of honey stuck to one's eyeglasses takes considerable effort to remove.
(I wish I could say that I discovered this doing something illicit and/or immoral. But no such luck. I was just fixing myself a bowl of fruit while I was having an all-thumbs morning. :/ I should have just gone to the local drive-thru for a grease bomb on a bun, like normal people do on Sunday mornings. But noooo...)
