SK, love to hear your thoughts on Black Terror and Project Superpowers! What do you like? Dislike?
I personally love the history of these characters (I'm a Golden Age history buff) but I just never pulled the trigger on buying these...Alex Ross's writing leaves me cold sometimes (whereas I love his art).

That's completely irrelevant, especially since DC's been publishing a lot longer.
The point is that the Project:Superpowers guys (and I like the series too) aren't afraid to kill or maim or twist characters when it suits them to do so.

Hm, I don't think Lardy or rogue have ever posted their pull lists. I'm curious! Do it!
And you too Reboot--I'm worried that you're gettign competely burnt out on comics in general and hardly collect anything anymore. I need your strong opinions on LW to balance out everyone's comments.

PS - as an update, I picked up Jack Staff too but haven't read it yet. I'll definately post my thoughts when I do.
PPS - I *may* pick up a Project Superpowers or Black Terror issue sometime soon. Unsure yet. I'm leaning more towards Black Terror as there is more than enough ensemble comic books out there these days but not enough solo comics based on characters with awesome death/pirate motifs.

And yet, when Marvel or DC do it, fans cry foul! I'm going ot have to check out these Dynamite books eventually aren't I?

My reason is that it would take too damn much work! Honestly, after recent Gym'll's activity, I can't think of any surprises left for you amongst the stuff I pick up.
Aw, what the hell--I might just do it soon, anyway...

Makes sense.
The other P:S characters do show up on a fairly regular basis in Black Terror, though he is clearly the star of the book. Just an FYI.

The latest issue of iZombie had a preview of Revolver, an original graphic novel, and I suspect it will appear in most of Vertigo's comics this month. I thought it was really freaky and interesting! I might pick this up some point in the future.
It's only a few pages but it reminded me of the film Memento, which I liked quite a bit.
