I may have to watch next week's episode totally pickled... (I was pickled watching TWD last week, in case you couldn't tell from my posts) I'm not sure my nerves can take it otherwise. But when I'm pickled, I miss things. Damn these modern problems!!!

Hey, at least they didn't end the fall portion with THIS episode! It seems like we'll get a degree of immediate resolution with episode eight in terms of: "Will Maggie and Glenn be saved", etc.
I was actually bummed when this episode ended ... I was like "what, wait, its just getting good!" and then creepy clifhanger ... at least we'll get an episode next week before the split.
Click Here For A Spoiler Andrea is so gonna shot that general up ... and his creepy pit bull with one arm (or maybe that will be Michonne ... cage match beyotch!
this season so ROCKS HARD.

I was nervous as well ... Click Here For A Spoilerin both torture scenes
well at least for now the show seems to draw the line with itself on the "action movie" side rather than on the "saw torture movie" side of the line. I have different limits for what I can handle in a comic book and a tv show. In a tv show I can usually handle more gore ... but not if the acting is good ... then its even worse than a comic book (which is a pretty immersive experience for me) ... like season one of American Horror Story just wasn't campy enough for me ... that trauma was too believable! I don't need that in my little power brain!

Soooo looking forward to the episode this week, but sad that we have no new shows after that for a while. Sunday nights will be boring.

Well...that was a great mid season finale. Lots happened and lots more set up.
Did not see the one part of the ending coming though, although I knew the Gov was upset with Merle.

I am starting to give Carl an edge in that category right now. Just cause you can tell he is still a little freaked, but he still just keeps going.
I loved the scene with Carol.

Carl is now awesome. So much better than his borderline insufferable comicbook counterpart, and SO much better than he was in Seasons 1 and 2!
Carol stole the show with her brief scene. I've really wanted her character to get it together, I've always kinda-sorta liked her but then she'd do something I didn't like. So far this season she seems to have it together.
Tyreese is JUST as awesome as I'd hoped he'd be.
A great half-season and a thrilling minseason finale.

I really liked Tyrese. Good intro to the character. Just wish they had not been predictable with what happened with the 4 that went to Woodbury.
