Watched this this weekend with the kids. They loved it and I thought it was quite nice overall.
The introduction of Cyborg was handled very well, and made total sense.
Nice to see Barry in the cartoons again, although he was voiced by the same person who voiced Wally in the Crisis movie...which makes it kind of weird.
Nathan Fillion as Hal was good, and the rest of the cast were stellar as always. Kevin is the freakin Batman...nobody else in my opinion should voice the Dark Knight in cartoons until he decides he not interested in doing it anymore. But that's just me.

It wasn't that Crisis, supes. It was an adaptation of Morrison and Quitely's Crime Syndicate story, which in turn was borrowed from the original Gardner fox JLA one. The full title to the DVD was "Crisis on Two Earths". I was disappointed that it was a CSA story, rather than a JLA/JSA story with a title like that! Haven't seen it, so not sure if it was any good.

Another fine outing from DC Animated... great voice cast... Wonder Woman in particular kissed arse... don't know the source material, but I like the idea of Batman having files on how to defeat the other JLAers...

It was the Tower of Bable storyline, I think it was called. It was one that lead to yet another split between Bats and the JLA if i remember correctly. Only, it used Aquaman and Kyle rayner, not cyborg and Hal. Guess even animation is trying to shoehorn cyborg into the JL instead of titans.

I looked it up, btw, and he DID! (Tim Daly from the contemporary Superman Animated is Superman here, too.)
Yeah, sorry about that. Wasn't really clear in my initial post, but he is Batman here. That guy is so freakin cool.

Did anyone get the two-DVD special edition of "Doom"? Can anyone tell me what's on the special edition? My efforts to research it hasn't turned up anything and I could be interested in getting that if I knew what was actually on it...

"The Two-Disc Special Edition DVD includes over 2˝ hours of content, including the movie, a preview of DC Universe's next animated original movie, A League of One: The Dwayne McDuffie Story and 2 bonus cartoons presented by Bruce Timm."
Pretty standard fair. I usually skip these...although, I would have liked to see the McDuffie doc.

I have a feeling the MacDuffie doc is less than comprehensive based on the other bonus materials I've seen on other DC DVDs. (I was actually an intern at Marvel when MacDuffie was an editor ... he was always soft-spoken and very nice)
Anyone have idea what the two bonus cartoons are??

According to a review I saw for the Blu Ray, they are Justice League Unlimited: Wild Cards, Parts 1 and 2.
