there is one thing that caught my attention after I read the solicitation of Legon #5 - as extracted from comics Continuum text page -

"TEEN TITANS GO! #46

Written by J. Torres, art by Mike Norton and Lary Stucker, cover by Todd Nauck.

Introducing...Wildfire! It's a family reunion when Starfire's long lost brother is found and visits Earth. But will he turn out to be a friend to the Titans like Starfire, or more of a foe like Blackfire?

32 pages, $2.25, in stores on August 29. "

This s the 2nd time that Ryand'r has been named as Wildfire (later on it was changed to something like Darkfire? in the Omega Men books)...perhaps they misnamed him again?

LSH31C #5 was another good issue... but the real treasure is in the letter column! Go and see!

I wish this had been the first issue because I think it's the first one to really bring the elements together well. The story is coherent, with a little bit of humor and a sense of menace. It gives LL some characterization, even if it is a bit cliched. But it's fun! And the art is good -- not great, but good.

I think this is the best issue so far. I just hope people have stuck around, and that the cover doesn't turn people off from buying it.

The legendary super-hero from Touston gets a write-up, but Jeckie fans are *not* going to like what they have to say about Princess Projectra. [Sensor]

I didn't care for the art and story as much as the last two issues, but it wasn't bad. The problem is the cartoon characters have evolved way beyond this kind of silly competitiveness, the comic book seems out of synch. On the other hand, kids teasing someone about a secret crush is pretty realistic behavior. Geez, even the Emerald Empress knew, poor kid!

Best part: Tenzil as a talking mouthwash ad.

I thought this was a pretty lame issue but Torres is my least favourite author on this book. LL and Supes in a dart throwing competition? How 20th century! Why not just break out the Twister?

It was a fun issue, and the story seemed a bit more grounded than some previous ones. But, yes, the letter column was the highlight. Very interesting choices for who they listed. Very nice to see that they aren't just going to ignore potential history.

The story was a bit silly, but I'm still enjoying LSH31C.

The lettercol was GREAT! I was thrilled to see all those members' writeups.

Tromium, I won't mind the "snake" part of Jeckie's write-up as long as the "girl" part is equally included! I was worried there would be no Princess Projectra at all what with Imra apparently being an illusionist as well.

Finally got my copy and could read it. I actually enjoyed the comic book storyline better than the season opener of Legion on TV. Hope they get more stories like this and the previous issue and hope they continue to improve as they have been. I liked the part about how everyone seemed to know Lightning Lad liked Saturn Girl. (Well, almost everyone.) It was a bit cliche of them having Brainy look puzzled or thoughtful about it when Clark mentioned it at the end. Was cute seeing the girls chatting off to the side at the same time though.

Am still hoping the comic stays where it is and doesn't skip ahead to season 2. There's still a lot to explore as things are. Also, seems like the comic is not nearly long enough to get into some of the more interesting details. However, I guess if you find yourself wanting more by the end, it's a good story.
