I know too many fans wants the return of Block, Dawnstar, Chemical King and another favorites. Me too. But what about these pair of femme fatales : Spider Girl And Veilmist. When the Horrible Zero Hour, Sussa dissapair in the Limbo, and in the reboot we only see her in The Workforce for a little time. Veilmist has a minor role in the Mordru rise saga. I think she deserve a major destiny this time. And her power was amazing, for me she's the best teletransporter in The Legion history. (Sorry for the Gates fans) Maybe this time, both girls shines again! What do you think?

What a wonderful idea! Veilmist was unique as a Legionnaire. Totally submissive to her "master" but quite manipulative of every other male in the group, apparently loyalty to her master was never part of her mindset. A perspective on social climbing I don't recall ever seeing in another comic character. Nor do I recall the inclusion of a slave as a distinct member or major character in any other comic story. Veilmist is a contradiction that could be VERY interesting to see explored.
Maybe Sussa could finally get that shot at Jo she was dying for during Legion On the Run. She tried so hard but UB was pining for Tinya, maybe she won't have that competition now?

Here, here, EmeraldEmpress! Let's see the return of Spider Girl!
And I'd love to see Veil Mist's return, too.
But as for the implication that only one teleporter can belong to the Legion at one time, I disagree--especially in the present version of the group. For one thing, the galaxy is a big enough place that it needs all of the Legionairres it can get (remember, in the last series the Legion had to operate a second "outpost," and in the TMK days there were even two Legions). And since the current version of the group contains thousands of members there surely must be multiple members who come from planets where a superpower is commonly possessed by all inhabitants--even if all of them aren't core team members, so why would this particular Legion even bother to have an only-one-member-at-a-time-with-a-partcular-superpower rule?

Just imagine Veilmist's debut... she pops into the team's midst, accompanied by swirls of pink vapor... wearing transparent pantaloons and a bikini-top... she pulls aside her veil to introduce herself... revealing the head of Gates atop Veilmist's voluptuous pink-skinned body.
Ultra Boy tells her to put the veil back on, then asks her out.
Hee-hee!
I'd rather have teleporters than these mechanical tele-portals the Legion and now Lemnos' organization have been using (Have the SP's used similar tech? Or other 31st century residents or groups?).
Actually, I'd be for the return of the starcruisers... for all that I recognize the need to project tech into a 31st century technologically advanced in comparison to comic book 'nows'.
Much more opportunity for character dynamics aboard a starship than walking (or flying) through a doorway.
As for a pair of little-used Legion gals... I'd like to see Night Girl and/or Calorie Queen give Ultra Boy some muscular assistance in the absence of M'on/Mon-el.
I'd *really* like to see Infectious Lass and Gas Girl (with a new name) become onscreen Legionnaires with substantial story contributions. (Infectious and Gas... I can hear the jokes already...)

Veilmist I've always loved, and used in my own fanfic... she was a key player in my Legion vs. Spider Guild story, though I elevated her from being a slave to being RJ Brande's adopted daughter. And she was brought in during the last issues of MEL:TS as her good ol' manipulative-slave self... I want to explore some of the things YK mentions above.
An *interplanetary teleporter* is a serious force to be reckoned with.
As for Spider Girl, Infectious Lass, Night Girl, Calorie Queen, Gas Girl... Well, I love them all. Hoping someday to be able to update the All-Inectious Lass thread here.
They should all be used. The trip to Lallor in issue # 1 was a missed opportunity to use Gas Girl.
