Somebody at the bimonthly L.A. comic-book "convention" (dealer's room) this past Sunday was already selling a CGC-slabbed (9.4) copy of "LSH" v5 n1 for $25.00.
Oh, what fools we mortals be ...

Not sure how heavily DC over printed #1, but traditionally they would "heavily over print" by 25%. My best guess, until Barry or Mark or someone else from DC refutes it, is minimum 35% over print. That places it at a little over 68,000 sold.
To be honest, I think that's incredibly low....

Actually, if they did "insanely" overprint as the story says, and 25% is normal, it may well be an even larger overprint than 35.

Well I ordered two at a 75% discount, two at a 35% discount and picked one up at the shop. Maybe I should have a couple of them CGC rated.

Hi guys - thanks - it is great news! When we were told DC intended to 'massively' overprint to avoid having to keep going back for new print runs (which aren't as cost effective) we really didn't think we'd manage to sell out - so we (and DC) are really really pleased!
