What are Atmos' powers? I need to check for something and I can't find a reliable list anywhere.

Flight, super-strength, partial invulnerability, an ability to tear apart and rebuild objects through manipulation of their molecular bonds and the power to subvert other peoples' will.

I wonder if that's the power he used to get his mohawk to stand up straight.

Maybe the lack of armpits gave him some pheromone control power that subdued Nura's willpower. [Smile]

I thought Atmos had some sort of limited mental powers too...I thought that was how he got Dream Girl in bed all those years ago...supposedly against her own free will. but then again we are talking about Nura "free love" Nal here.

That would fall under his power to subvert other peoples' will.

Maybe Atmos found a cure for underarm odour?

Ironically, it is underarm odor that has certain pheremonal properties in humans. Maybe Naltorians respond in the opposite to pit scents?

BTW, this question highlights something I HATE in any incarnation of the Legion -- vague, unlimited powers! With so many characters, powers have to be clearly delineated and limited. That was really the point of the very first S/LSH story -- Superboy's amazement that three kids with one power each could accomplish so much.

...but you don't have a moment where you're sitting there staring at a table full of twenty-five characters with little name signs that say, "Hi, my superpower is confusing you!"

In general I agree with you, but I'm willing to recognize certain exceptions. Like, say, the White Witch.

Although Mysa did have a clearly defined and limited power when she became a Legionnaire. She had to prepare & memorize the spell ahead of time which meant she really couldn't deal with any eventuality that came up during a mission.
