The latest Vogue, which has Gwenyth Paltrow on the cover (with Iron Man's helmet) has a whole superhero theme throughout the magazine.
As part of the photoshoots, there's an outfit inspired by Dawnstar:
Here's a blowup of the caption:
Aside from the wings, there's no real Dawnstar there, but hey, at least they used her instead of Hawkgirl...

Nice photo but I wouldn't have minded just a bit more "inspiration" (cough~ less costume ~cough).

I wonder why they did do the 1930s blonde for Dawnstar instead of a native American? Maybe some of our photoshoppers and artists here can put the real Dawnstar in a Dior. I bet she'd outclass blondie here.
Thanks for posting this Drake - I'll check out the others in the magazine.

Cool that a Legion member is referenced in Vogue. Uncool that the model and her dress look as if they have absolutely no connection to the actual character other than a tiny set of prop wings. She actually looks more like a Buck Rodgers heroine than anything else. Anna Wintour must not have been down the whole native American vibe that day. meh, fashion is fickle.
eta - I wish Sketch Lad had been in charge of that shoot.
