Thora would probably not have standing to sue for wrongful death. To have standing she would have to show that she had a relationship (family or marriage) with the deceased Thora.

Poor Thora II was fated to die like her predecessor. A shame how they never seem to get by. Would Thora I be outraged someone with her name worked as a measly...*choke*...waitress?
Thora I needs to be reimagined as one of those weird kids in the crowd who actually doesn't like the Legion and gets flogged by the 'human shield' every time she speaks up.
