Author Topic: Catwoman and Black Widow Sketch Lad Advisor posted                       Some non-Legion art I've done recently.... These have both been entered in "Digital Draw-Offs" at the Digital Webbing mb's. Voting has begun on the Black Widow contest and right now I'm in 3rd place! If I'd known I'd get any votes at all, I would have tried harder and done better detail work on the drawing. The Catwoman picture is what I'd call finished. They are currently voting on the Catwoman draw off and there are LOTS of entries, lots of GOOD entries. I'm currently in 4th place out of about 20 something entries! I don't expect to pull ahead, the other entries are great, but it does feel good to be in the running. The climate at Digital Webbing is definitely very comic book industry. Lots of people either in the business or trying to be. The critiques are very frank and helpful. High traffic. There are a lot of great images there (and some not so great), and yours definitley holds it's own. It has a lot of punch, and I love her facial expression; so disdainful! I also loved the drawing by zombiekiller13. She justs looks so incredibly...feline! And again, the facial expression; the proverbial cat that swallowed the canary. Good stuff! I was more than pleased, since the entries were varied and numerous. The next draw off I've entered is a Christmas themed one, and I drew Poison Ivy vamping with poison mistletoe and poison poinsettias, etc. I'm currently having a bandwidth shortage at my hosting site, but I'll figure out something in order to keep sharing images. Then, the NEXT draw off is Baby New Year vs. Old Father Time. My idea for that is pretty cute. Then, the NEXT draw off is the Juggernaut vs. The Thing, and I don't know if I'll do that one.
