Reposting this over here in the Bits forum at Sinnoe's suggestion, because he's probably right about people being more likely to notice it here...
See, you wait for ages for an issue to come along and then 2 come along right after each other. Heh.
So things are starting to kick of in the world of the Queen. This issue we get to see the Queen's hideout, find out a little more about him and finally find out (sort of) what Lili is up too. Plus gratuitous semi-nudity from both the Queen and Nikshita, so everyone should be happy.
And especially for the LMBP we also get the first cameo by an LMBPer. I know some people have already seen the relevant pages but for those who haven't can you spot the LMBPer sneaking in there?

This is a hoot, Beevis! Colour cover, the Queen with red hair! Are those Clark Kent glasses - or the op, posite - he doesn't need glasses when he fights crime, but does at home? And what a home, like living in Mont St-Michel.
You have a great facility with facial expressions, they are so realistic and suited to the particular scene. Lili looks perfectly demonic with the fire and destruction behind her.
As to whether Q *needs* to wear glasses... You know, I'm not sure. The real reason he has them is because I do as well, but in terms of the story... actually I think as much as anything they're probably just a fashion thing. I do quite like the idea of a superhero who is fast and strong and has powers and such but still has dodgy eyesight though. Heh.
And Harbi, you know what the wierdest thing about watching Cori the other night was? Both me a Chris sat there first trying to work out if Todd and Carl came out of Spirit or the New Union (and it sure as hell wasn't either inside, but that's probably because almost all scenes like that in a club are filmed in the Press Club in the basement of the building I work in. That's where all the pub scenes in Queer As Folk and Linda Green were filmed) and then laughing heartily when the taxi pulled up because there's no way a taxi would stop there. He he.

Sonnie made some comment about the taxi not being able to park there as well and we all dismissed him. Whoops!
Sorry Keithie

Bristol was fantastic. I'm still not recovered though, still in something of a half asleep state. I will post a full account of it in the next couple of days but I'm still not terribly coherent.
Aaaaaas for QoD #4.... should be on-line any day now. Had a few problems with the size of the files that i sent Joe at the GLA site but we've got those sorted now so it most probs will be some time this week.
As for hard copies... yes I do still have lots left. I was selling them for £7.50 for the full set at Bristol (all four of the first four issues. Woo-hoo!) and I certainly plan on sorting out some way that people can buy them from me via the web. I'm not terribly sure what that is yet, it might just be getting something as basic as a paypal account. That being said if anyone in the Uk wants anything now mail me and I'll see what I can do. I need to work out costs for sending things to the US and stuff first before doing any sales to youse guys (sorry) but that shouldn't take terribly long to sort out. Um... one hopes.

Yes! Tony, I would love something from your good self. Actually I'm thinking about either doing some pin-ups for if/when I do a collection of the first four issues or for a sort of Secret Files and Origins thing. I'll have a little think on that, but if you want to do something random then feel free. Pick a character and let your imagination flow. Actually the outfit that Q is wearing in #4 is kinda based on a drawing of Lucien Lad that you did a little while back. Not completely, but things like the pips on his collar and the sleevless top are very much so.
