Lash Girl, showed up at the Legion tryouts to demonstrate her 'super-power to cause intense pain or pleasure' with her 'special whips,' knowing that she'd be rejected for having no actual super-powers, but hoping to capitalize on the exposure to boost her dominatrix business.
The androgynous Boy Girl had the power common to all people of hir homeworld, being a fully functional hermaphromorph, able to switch between male and female genders in a matter of seconds. Only Sun Boy raised his hand to admit hir, but quickly said that he was confused and thought they were voting to reject hir.
While Multiple Orgasm Lad's powers worked as advertised, quickly (if temporarily) incapacitating everyone in the room, his control left something to be desired (as it did indeed affect *everyone* in the room), and, after adjourning to change their uniforms, the Legion unanimously voted to reject him. Oddly, he's not been seen since, although everyone laughs (somewhat nervously) at the speculation that he's been kidnapped and is currently chained up in someone's basement.
