So, going through all the news and interviews and panel summaries of the San Diego Comic Con could takes weeks...months...perhaps even years! I say lets use this thread to spill what we think are some of the more exciting announcements that you've noticed so far.
IDW to publish a new Rocketeer miniseries in 2011 by a string of awesome, high quality artists! (I saw Allred was one of them).
John Byrne's Next Men to return in December 2010 by IDW!
Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye in the Avengers movie! That's one of the better and more groovy announcements IMO!
Other than this and the sad Dan Slott Spider-Man news, that's about all I've seen so far that is noteworthy and not vague. What else have I missed?

I guess the DC announcements the week before of Thunder Agents by Nick Spencer, Knight & Squire and the new Bat-book creators could count too.
After all these years of every Con checking newsarama and CBR for the DC and Marvel panels--and almost always finding nothing new at all being discussed, I almost can't bring myself to read them anymore.

Marvel News Marvel has a lot of varous minis and one-shots coming in the next year, but honestly, I don't feel like getting into them all. I'll only buy them on a "do I love the writer and/or artist enough to get them". Some examples:
Rocket Racoon & Groot by DnA and Tim Green. That's a sure bet for me.
Ultimate Thor by Jonathan Hickman. I thought I was done with the Ultimate U (other than Spidey) but Hickman *might* just be enough to draw me back in. This is an 'in the store' decision.
Another Strange Tales mini with independent creators. I missed the first. Did anyone get?
Power Man & Iron Fist featuring the new Power Man by Fred Van Lente and Wellinton Alves, the latter of whom I'm not sure of. I'm going to pick up the first issue or two of the new Power Man mini because Van Lente is writing and that will determine if I get this.
A Thor/Iron Man comic is coming out by DnA and Scott Eaten; 4-issue miniseries. Also features the High Evolutionary which DnA have used very well in their cosmic corner of the MU. I'll be getting this.
A ton more Captain America minis.
Appearing in Avengers soon will be ROM the Space Knight and also the Illuminati once again.
Independent Comics News BOOM! Studios talked more about the Stan Lee line of comics. I'm interested; Stan is only overseeing, Cornell and Waid are each writing a title (there are 3).
Marc Guggenheim is launching a new imprint on Image with the purpose of bringing Hollywood writers (the guys who do all the TV shows) to comic books. I skimmed through the article.
Other Entertainment News - Not Comics Suicide Squad video game
Joss Whedon directing Avengers, I'm learning was revealed here. I thought this was old news? Anyway: *groan*
Green Lantern video game
Bill Sienkiewicz unleashes a Dexter animated webseries (Dexter is the most awesome television show on Showtime you're probably not watching).
A bunch of Tron: the Legacy stuff. I don't even remember this in pop-culture?
I'll keep looking and post anything solid and worth mentioning.

At the Paul Levitz Spotlight I asked if Legion was the lead in Adventure for the foreseeable future and Geoff Johns said "Yes".

DC News In addition to David Finch's new Batman series The Dark Knight, Grant Morrison is doing a team-up Batman series Batman, Inc.. Throughout the whole panel, hardly any mention at all of Tim Drake.
The Silver Age Batwoman, Kathy Kane will appear in Morrison's Bat-title. (Morrison has shown her in flashbacks and hallucinations before). So will some of the Club of Heroes (El Guacho was mentioned).
Morrison & Johns are working on something big for 2011.
Sometime in 2011, Johns said will be a second Flash comic called 'Speed Force' featuring Kid Flash, Jessie Quick, Wally West and also XS. I'm surprised Legion fans didn't pick up on this. Of course, I'll believe it when I see it (like the Wally West back-up that never happened).
Independent Comics News Top Shelf will be putting out the League of Extraordinary Gentleman III: Century #2 issue out very shortly by Alan Moore. It actually looks really cool! It's in the 1960's in swinging London!
The new Dark Horse Presents comic will feature Concrete among other classic independent characters. I thought this was online only? Hopefully not.
There was various news about Manga, Star Wars, Buffy & Angel and other franchises I don't follow, so I, er, didn't read those things.
Otto Binder's 'Mighty Samson' and Doctor Specktor will join Jim Shooter's Gold Key line at Dark Horse. These are two of the lesser known but awesome Gold Key properties from the Silver Age.
The Rocketeer mini by IDW I previously mentioned will have stories by: Mike Allred, Darwyn Cooke, Kurt Busiek & Michael Kaluta, and John Cassidy. I think also more?
Marvel News I'm behind on my Hulk reading so forgive me if I skipped over any Hulk news. The series is at a critical moment in spoiler-ville and I don't want to get buffaloed.
That being said, it appears the Red Hulk will join the Avengers briefly in #7 for a story arc. Awesome.
Other Entertainment News - not comics The Walking Dead panel talked about how the director can't wait to get to Tyrese and eventually Michonne, the latter of whom will probably appear in the second season.
A lot of crap about digital media that I ignored and hope will go away.
Witchblade video game
Saw am awesome picture of the entire announced Avengers cast. Google it everyone.
Cool Grant Morrison written movie called Sintaro announced.
Will Eisner's 'Contract with God' to be a movie.

Marvel News Great stuff for Hulk fans! Loeb is leaving and Jeff Parker is officially taking over. Yay!
BIG NEWS!!! Marvel to possibly be buying or publishing the Crossgen characters? Only a hint given.
DC News DC mentioned a new series called Weird Worlds that is like an old school monster comic? It's a bit vague.
New Statis series by Felicia Henderson. (Old News, I know).
Chloe Sullivan will appear in the Jimmy Olsen back-up. (This is news to me!)
Independent Comics News Some really cool yet weird Chew news: "Layman also revealed that he just completed issue #27 a few days ago, and now plans to release that issue after 18 as a sort of glimpse ahead to what's in store for the characters, "It will go 16, 17, 18, 27, 19, etc." When it comes time for trade, the issues will still be collected in order (16-20), so only monthly readers will be able to read issue 27 ahead of time, while trade waiters will have to wait a year or two to read the issue in its proper order in the collection."
Kurt Busiek has a new creator owned series, 'Witchlands', which he calls an urban gothic type series. It's through WildStorm.
Other Entertainment News - not comics PAD is writing episodes of the Young Justice Cartoon.

I think they hinted that things got changed on the fly - instead of doing the back-up they decided to go this route instead.
In other news, Newsarama is reporting that the next DC animated film will be All-Star Superman.
