Uh Oh, does the previews appearance by the most vile villian in Legiondom, the Planetary Chance Machine?

Gee, this actually sounds intriguing to me, particularly

"the current DC DVDs that are being produced. I love the idea that they will be able to tell the darker Legion stories"

Wish a could afford cable.

Delaying the origin story makes sense. I've never been interested in where someone came from until I was first interested in them. Possible side affect though, is if the new fandom brought on by the cartoon pick up on the present book and begins to expects a consistent origin.

What intrigued me is that Tucker said he first started reading the Legion with the Bates/Grell era and continued through the Levitz period (the first one, I presume).

That's "my" era, too. It's good to have a fellow '70s fan in charge of the cartoon. It comes through in the show's sensibilities.
