THE LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES IN THE 31st CENTURY #2

Written by J. Torres, art by Sanford Greene and Nathan Massengill, cover by Steve Uy.

On the planet Raal, Timber Wolf was nothing but a beast. But in the Legion, he could be a super-hero! Can he -- and the team -- keep it together long enough to make it back home, or will this be the shortest membership on record?

32 pages, $2.25, in stores on May 16.

I'm really excited about this book, but they've GOT to get a new cover artist -- STAT!

I like that the book can explore his dual nature. It should be an interesting story.

Yes, pleaaase get someone else to do the cover art! I mean seriously, what the hell is wrong with Timberwolf's face on the cover(not to mention the other three)?

But the cover aside, I'm sooo getting this issue.

I was just coming on here to say how much I liked the cover for this issue! Especially the colours and compostition.

I agree that Imra and Brin's faces are a little 'different' but I much prefer Imra's face here to the way its drawn in the cartoon.

I was a little ambivalent about this comic as the show has been a bit of a disappointment IMO, but now that the episodes are getting better and more characters have started being introduced I'm starting to look forward to it.

I agree that the cover art we've seen so far have good compositions and coloring, but the faces are ..... not...good.

I don't want to start a new thread for this observation, so I'll just post it here, where it's sort of on-topic:

Anybody else notice that animated-series Timber Wolf looks a bit like Nasty Canasta from the 'Dripalong Daffy' Daffy Duck cartoon?
