"leg boots"?

Posted by MLLASH on :

Please place all blame on our dear old pal EDE. (scroll down to discover the answer)

Leg boots are like boots, only more futuristic.

Now, to be fair, she also seems to be wearing white leggings, to preserve a bit of modesty. God, I hope swimsuits and knee-high's aren't a future fashion trend, because there are going to be some scarred and highly offended people out there.

Posted by Power Boy on :

I am wearing a torso shirt with leg and bottoms jeans.

... and feet boots.

Bah! Discussions of random chicks in swimsuits and leg boots are so 2004!

These days I'm totally obsessed with Interplantery Post Office Guy who kind of looks like Radiation Roy!

Personally, I think it makes him look vaguely like Chef Boyardee. All your potential dates will be expecting pasta. I hope you're a good cook. XD

Posted by Leap Year Lord on :

Verily, all of Cobie's dates = Lady + the Space-Tramp.

Posted by Power Boy on :

That confirms it ... THAT WOMAN IS TEEDS! Vacationing on Bgtzl ... where she wore pants and short sleeves in the sun the day before ... resulting in her uneven top heavy tan.

Posted by Leap Year Lord on :

I neither confirm nor deny, but I will remind that I don't date pipsqueaks.

Posted by Jerry on :

Do leg boots defy the laws of physics? Am I in the right thread? Is macho Chef Brother Boyardee wearing a blue choker? Wouldn't the phasing of Bgtzl contribute to Teeds uneven tan?

You guys and random chicks are making my brain fuddled.

How does one kick Bgztl shins?

Trade secret, surely.

Posted by Cobalt Kid on :

I think arm bands should come back into style.

Posted by Jerry on :

But not so fuddled that I don't remember that this whole mess resulted in the final eclipse of Sun Boy. Which really wasn't all that final.

Fill in the blanks: If Chef Boyardee inhabited __________, it would result in the final ___________ of ____________.

Apparently, leg boots are indeed some sort of fashion "thing"....

Well, I only sorta remember the story. Who mooned Dirk?

That is the story in which we get to see Bgtzl's moon!

OK, Jerry, I'll play:

If Chef Boyardee inhabited Silver Slasher, it would result in the final judgment of copyright infringement.

But, can Lash justify Howdy Doody's footwear?

Betty, who is no random chick, has the good sense not to wear leg boots with a mini skirt.

Archie is also wearing sensible shoes.

Jughead's feet are hidden. One has to wonder what he is wearing to accessorize that thrift store military jacket.

It's surely a perspective thing, but it looks like random swimsuit-and-leg-boots-chick is walking towards us, while her torso is twisted 180 degrees around and facing in the other direction...

Also, porn-stache brother has three bands on one arm, and two bands on the other. Is that some sort of code? Possibly the Bgtzln version of handkerchief code?

Posted by cleome46 on :

Yes, it's code. (Platonic partners always hold their friend/companion by the right arm- Three bands.)

(The other kind of partner holds the other arm- Two bands.)

There were a lot of misunderstandings, hurt feelings, and fisticuffs on the matter until the Bgtzl Tourist Bureau finally got wise and handed a diagram to tourists as they arrived in the spaceport.)

I think they're each on opposite sides of a single station, in case natives and non-natives are arriving/departing together. Kind of like how a modern-day station would accommodate both planes and shuttles.

Now, tourists that go to Durla* for the first time and have to have social/sexual mores outlined for them... That takes a lot more than a pamphlet and a five-minute speech from a friendly attendant. It's sort of like applying for a Fulbright, but with tons of really, uh... interestingly detailed graphics added.

*Yes, I prefer cartoon Durla, which was a "hub" and not an isolationist wasteland. So that's the version I'm going with here.

Could be related to Clark Kent's mysterious power to become utterly unrecognizable even to close friends by merely donning a pair of glasses?

Or is she Beach Lass, with the power of sun, sand and surf?

Her blonde friend, primly seated *on black plastic in the hot sun* must be 'Fireproof Ass Lass.'

Kid Flash is a frenemy.

Sorry, I have to interrupt this thread for a serious political discussion. If memory serves correctly, the dude beating Mal's heavenly horn with a chain was a member of a gang called the Wreckers. He learned all about explosives while he was in the military.

At this week's Presidential debate, President Obama said that he supports the Dream Act to provide those who have served in the military a path to citizenship. He also said that gang bangers should be the first to be deported. Governor Romney has said that he favors self deportation.

So, if he can't show his papers, should our Wrecker friend:

A. Be the first to be deported,

B. Be given a pathway to citizenship, or

C. Be asked to self deport?

This is one of those trick questions, isn't it? The train engineer's eyes are polar-bear colored!

It all depends on the footwear, doesn't it?

Speaking of footwear, I really dig Mal's boots.

Kind of off topic again (one of those days). Did we ever see Duela try to blow bubbles out of Mal's heavenly horn?
