I've noticed that some don't want to say exactly where they live, but I am curious where the majority of posters are from: What county are you from?

I'll start. USA

I'm in the USA and have no problem saying that I live in Houston, Texas. In fact, Rocky's home planet is an homage to Superman II where General Zod is under the impression that he is on the Planet Houston.

I don't think I want to know what Cobie was doing at your place in a cheerleader's skirt.

Actually Cobalt the girls were asking after you just the other day.

When is it safe to let them return? are those bad Bostonians still around?

And getting back on topic.

Hey guys! Glad for those who have responded. Just to be a little more specific, I am in Western North Carolina, near Asheville. Hey Lardy, I was in Charleston in April and stopped at Captain's Comics--ever go there?
I'm actually surprised; Only being here for 4 months, I thought more of you might be from across the pond. Keep 'em coming!

Posted by Lard Lad on :

I've been there, AFOB, but it's way out of my way. Captain's is probably a good 15 miles or so from my house. For years after my local CBS closed down, I dealt with online subscriptions services and eBay, etc.

Happily, I've just discovered a new CBS that's opened near me within about 4 miles. They're very tiny and so far only deal with new comics, but I can't tell you how great it is to buy new comics as they come out and to browse comic racks again!

But I grew up in Fremont (SF Bay Area). Moved to Orange County to go to school and never went back. You know the story...met a girl, fell in love, she filed a restraining order...met another girl, she liked the wierdness so I proposed. [Smile]
