Always the bridesmaid, never the low-cut peek-a-boo one-move-from-pandemonium bride!

Jeckie's 70s outfit was one of the most striking produced by the mind of the great Dave Cockrum, along with other stunners like Shadow Lass, Star Boy, Duo Damsel, Lightning Lad and Shrinking Violet.

Jeckie was a brave soul indeed, but I expect no less of royalty.

Who was her bridesmaid?

Posted by The Mighty Quinn M. on :

She barely managed to be in her own wedding issue!

I thought the "L" earrings were faboo!

And after the wedding, they got to wear exotic-looking bathrobes and hang out in a palace. At least, until the bad guys crashed the honeymoon.

She did wear a cape on her honeymoon. On the beach!

[LOL]

A princess must always dress up, even at the beach. [Yes]

And it looks like Binky's blowing bubblegum out of his ear.

Oh, Binky! Will you never learn?

Balls . . . belles . . . tough choice.

Hey! I think that ball is Cham... wearing Tenzil's costume!

[Eek!] [Eek!]

Unless it's Chuck... wearing Tenzil's costume. I'm so lost...

The perspective's a bit weird...that's actually Chuck wearing Tenzil's costume bouncing at Gim 45 feet away.

We see Vi standing inside the camera lens disapproving of these shenanigans.

Was this a red kryptonite story? Supergirl's costume is all messed up.

Posted by Blacula on :

It actually looks like it could be an early version of a Satan Girl costume.

What material IS that dress made of? Wilted tea leaves?

Another beach caper!

It could be worse. Or is that better? Hmm.

^ The composition of that cover is so hilariously awful.

I think we're meant to think that the reason she's backing out of the wedding is because she used to be in love with the guy in the car but thought he was dead.

But the artist has made it look like she's backing out of the wedding because she thought her fiance was undead and is now horrified to discover he's actually alive. Meanwhile some guy is randomly driving past while standing up and waving.

I actually prefer your funny interpretation of the cover, Blacula. Maybe she has a thing for boy zombies, like Lash does!

[LOL]

I felt the same way about the girl in the Chinese hat (!) on the Dear Lonely Hearts cover. What's she doing there? Is she about to tell Ms. Blonde what she has to lose? Is she shocked at Mr. Yellow Towel's question? Did she swallow something too big?

What is it with all these girls wearing capes on the beach, anyway? How can they run around or lie down on the sand like that?
