So what is the consensus here? Will the solicit for issue #16 come out on Monday the 12th, or will it happen on the 19th?

Will we get it at all, with all the secrets behind Crisis??

I for one CAN'T wait. Why does the clock have to move so slow!?!?

If anyone snags an early image, make sure and save it to your hard drive, for all to share.

Might have to clarify my comment a little for your benefit, Arachne: It would be a shame for this current Legion's run to be cut so short - just as it starts to pick up with the various storylines and character build-ups...

Yeah, but the post-boot Legion disapeared when some force started "pounding on reality" (maybe not an exact quote). Seems to me that was Kal-L coming out of hiding. If that's true then The Legion was already canceled and rebooted to fit with the post Infinte Crisis universe. We just found out about it before the rest.

That's the best depiction of Kara I've seen since she reappeared in the DCU. Of course, it might be a different Kara all together.

I like the cover and can't wait to see how it happens.

Off topic here....but the solicts for Birds of Prey, Supergirl, Robin and Teen Titans all had blacked out characters. That gives me a collective WTF man. Can't wait to see all that happens from OYL. ...Back to topic...

Can't wait to see the new logo too.

Note the fact that the solicitation was listed between JSA and Outsiders (in other words, as beginning with "L", not "S"), and not with the Super-titles. This seems to indicate the title change is only temporary.

Also note how good this Supergirl looks when drawn by an artist.

My guesses: Top Row - Sun Boy, Star Boy, Timber Wolf, Phantom Girl, Next Row - Shadow Lass, Colossal Boy, Saturn Girl, Element Lad, Next Row - Brainiac 5, Cosmic Boy, Dream Girl, Shrinking Violet, Bottom Row - Triplicate Girl, Lighting Lad, Karate Kid or Ultra Boy (meaning one isn't shown ), & Chameleon. Also among those you can't tell, I assume Light Lass, Invisible Kid, & Princess Projectra.

It appears by the cover that none of the time-lost Legionniares make it past #15.

Yes it is exciting. Yes she looks great. While I've read the first few issues of her series...I didn't care for it. But I loved her in the last JLA.

The costume is cool but the yellow trim on the cape is a bit Marvel family for me...for some reason.

Now the bitter old man and cautious Legion fan. DC is crazy. I think it's totally not needed. The Legion does need a boost in sales. I'm an all or nothing guy at this point. Guys like Waid, Geoff, etc are very careful around continuity but it's things they never expect that totally screw things up.

Now where are Tyroc, Blok, and Dawnstar. That cover had more buzz than this one. I hope that tells DC something.

I believe the costume is a hint. This is the costume (based on the trim on the cape and costume) of the current Supergirl. Does she become time-tossed because of the Crisis?

Don't read to much into the relative posting volume Jorge. I think there appeared to be more buzz only because people that post to Legion Boards are generally Legion fans from the old days.

A prominent Supergirl cover won't generate the same number of posts other than from the usual "Waid's off his rocker" crew because most Supergirl fans don't want to have anything to do with us. It's safe to say that Supergirl has a much broader appeal and is much more recognizable than Legion.

So the one-two punch of the two upcoming issues (pre-boot cover and now SG) could introduce (or reintroduce) people that haven't bought the new series to LSH.

1) Recapture the wayward former customer
2) Expand the base

I id'ed your T-Wolf as Ultra Boy and your Shadow Lass as T-Wolf (due to a cuff being seen. I think that I Kid's and Ayla's were behind Supergirl, left of Dream Girl's ( or Princess Projectra's just to be cautious that it may be a red herring.)

Also, I'm with LASH. Bring them all back. Right now you are basically ignoring large numbers of fans. We don't need much panel time for all of them but just knowing they are there would be nice.

The book isn't skipping forward a year - we've always been post IC...the clues are there

Supergirl's appearance won't rule out the reappearance of any past Legionnaires...in fact it may mean just the opposite...

The page count will be changing for two main reasons - firstly, we're going to be going onto the higher quality paper - which I'm really happy about - it should make the colors really 'pop'!
Secondly, to make it easier for us to avoid quite so many fill-ins - even with back-ups etc I was struggling to maintain all the detail and aim for as many 30 page stories as we could. Who knows, if we get well ahead on schedules we may get the extra pages back!

I love the extra art, but I am quite excited about the fact that they are going to the higher quality paper stock. I am sure that the colors will look better, but in my opinion, they are just the "window dressing" for the art! And really if we are not getting you for all 30 well…… lets just say I can’t wait to see the higher quality look!

And really, I know that all are commenting on your Supergirl, & I must concur, that she is simply beautiful. You give her that great look that Turner did, but much more realistic and healthier. If you are using models for your Legion women, can I PLEASE come over and help assist in the positioning .

And seriously the flight rings being expensive are just a way to limit the number of members.

Now when I say let all the old members join (and a handful of new ones) that doesn't mean any kid who can blow bubbles through his nose. I am guessing they are going to get rick somehow.

And I still have a funny feeling about the rings...as if they are part of the mysteries.

DC just pushed back the publishing date on the upcoming issues of Supergirl (#4-7) by six weeks. I wonder if that will affect the publication of LoSH #16? Barry, any idea?
