Impress? Medallions must be involved.

The Empress will be expecting data input from her subjects. Guidelines soon...

I think she's ticked off that the three villain-types went out first on the Male Model contest. [Smile]

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

The Empress wishes to orchestrate her own competition.

She would like to see sentients from throughout the galaxy attempt to fit the roles modeled by the classic Fatal Five. Any character from the Legionverse is eligible except for actual Legionnaires.

The "types" are as follows...

The FEMME FATALE should be not only beautiful, but powerful and confident (and female, hopefully obviously). The Emerald Empress herself is an excellent example of this type. Other examples could be Glorith, Dream Girl, X Bomb Betty, etc....

The WEAPON WIELDER should be powerful and confident, but should also have a formidable weapon, which occurs either naturally, or is created by man or machine. The WEAPON WIELDER may be male or female. The Persuader is an excellent example of this type, but another example would be Tyr or Black Mace.

The BRAINS OF THE OPERATION may be human, alien or machine or any combination thereof, male, female or N/A. They must be extremely intelligent, though. Tharok is the Fatal Five's example, but Brainiac 5 would be another example.

The ENERGY BLASTER should be able to generate great power from within themselves. The origin of this power is irrelevant. The ENERGY BLASTER may be male or female. Mano is the Five's example, but Sun Boy or Lightning Lass are examples from the Legion.

The BRUTE should be a large, powerful being, either male or female (or non sentient, if competitive). Validus is the prime example, but Blok or Power Boy or Titania would be other examples.

3. List your top choices for BRAINS:

1. List your top choices for FEMME FATALE:

I mentioned X Bomb Betty, but I'd also like to see Starlight and/or Starbright in this. Spider Girl. Veilmist.

2. List your top choices for WEAPON WIELDER:

This one's tough. I mentioned Tyr and Black Mace. How 'bout Tusker? The Blue Devil from the Gail Simone story.

3. List your top choices for BRAINS:

Computo. Braino? Evolvo Lad

4. List your top choices for BLASTER:

Sun Emperor. Storm Boy?

5. List your top choices for BRUTE:
Titania, Power Boy, Omega

6. List some situations you'd like to see the challengers face:

Fighting a giant gorilla

Kissing a demon

Wearing only a loincloth in the snow

Sitting, smirking, on throne

Including several Why not? suggestions...

1. Silver Slasher, Nana Minsork

2. Wild Huntsman? Silver Sword? Oli-3 Queen?

3. Queeg, Rond, Mystelor, Ji Daggle

4. Quantum Queen

5. Blockade Boy? Diamondeth?

I'm going to keep my picks in the villainous or at least non-typical-hero mode.

1. List your top choices for FEMME FATALE:

You can't go wrong with an interstellar teleporter like VEILMIST. Telepathic/telekinetic MYSTELOR of the Taurus Gang might be fun to explore. THORA and/or AZURA-- you need a hot feminazi!

2. List your top choices for WEAPON WIELDER:

HUNTER, son of Otto Orion. FRAKE, the she-pirate, maybe with some kinda space-sword. DAGON THE AVENGER, parent-kidnapper and suit of armour!

3. List your top choices for BRAINS:

BEN PARRES, thief supreme. EVILLO, despite his inability to count to a dozen correctly. DR. MAYAVALE, he who has the knowledge of countless lifetimes at his beck and call!

4. List your top choices for BLASTER:

Pharoxx of Orando. Stargrave. Sun Emperor.

5. List your top choices for BRUTE:

HOLDUR, Quicksand's partner-- especially the big, brtual fishnet-shirt wearing version from SHOWCASE. The EVERY-10-YEARS MONSTER, this time on a more regular schedule. ROGARTH of the Taurus Gang, who beat the crap out of Supergirl.

6. List some situations you'd like to see the challengers face:

Interplanetary beast guard!

How well would one might fight off the mental domination of Charma or, if a chick, Apollo.

Spank crazy Ol-Vir before he murderizes you.

Outwit a Legionnaire!

Best response to being rejected from the LSH by early-Adventure era hyper-mean Cosmic Boy and Saturn Girl. (or from the LSV by equally mean Saturn Queen and Cosmic King)

The Femme Fatale - Nightwind

The Weapon Wielder - so many to choose from, but I like Particon (of the Workforce) or Silver Slasher

The Brains of the Operation - Saturn Queen

The Energy Blaster - Lazon

The Brute - the Super-Moby Dick of Space!

As for things for them to do, I love Mllash's suggest of showing their reaction to getting rejected from the Legion, but it would be funny if it was a 'candid' shot and not a 'how I wish I reacted thirty minutes after the fact' reaction.

A standard 'showing off their powers' pose would be cool.

Additional suggestions:

BRAINS:

Murdermaton

WEAPONS:

Flederweb

BRUTE:

Blood Claw

Okay I'll stop now.

Posted by Eryk Davis Ester on :

FEMME FATALE
Esper Lass, Spider Girl, Nightwind, Mandalla, Uli Algor!

WEAPONS MASTER
Silver Slasher, Grimbor, Tyr, Wild Huntsman, Terrus

BRAINS

Doctor Regulus, Thora, Murdermaton, Neutrax, or Nardo!

ENERGY BLASTER

Flare, Magno Lad, Radiation Roy

BRUTE

Super Moby Dick, Tangleweb, Nadir

Be back to add challenges later!

Keep 'em coming, but here are some names that have come up more than once, practically ensuring their entry in the competition...

Spider Girl
Veilmist
Silver Slasher
Tyr
Wild Hunstman
Murdermaton
Sun Emperor
Super Moby Dick of Space
Mystelor
Thora

So far, the situation which has received more than one nomination is: Response to being REJECTED by Mean Legion (which I'm already visualizing! Heh!)

(Edited to include Mystelor and Thora.)

One of the interesting things I noticed while I was coming up with characters is how closely other Legion villain groups such as the Taurus Gang or the LSA stick close to the same mold as the Fatal Five.

Posted by Seth Gaterra on :

Hmm... I think I'm going to be pulling from different continuities (though still LSH-linked) for this one.

FEMME FATALE = I'm calling in Lady Memory for this one. Exotic beauty, a leader in the spiritual and political arenas, and an unusual but effective psychic power.

WEAPON WIELDER = If you hadn't already done Grimbor, I'd nominate him here; someone else should have a chance. I'll go with Tyr on this one; most of the other pure weapons-wielders in the Legionverse didn't really impress me.

BRAINS = For this, I'm calling upon Brainiac -- the version from Superman:TAS & Justice League. Considering he was the villain for "New Kids in Town", which starred the Legion, he should fit in here.

ENERGY BLASTER = I'll go with Lazon here. He's powerful, handsome... and with this lineup, he's the token human. [Wink]

BRUTE = I'm putting him here instead of in "Weapon Wielder", because he doesn't need weapons to wreak havoc. But for this category, I nominate Lobo the Czarnian, since evidently he is immortal (if the info revealed in the DC One Million event is correct?).

Current contenders....nominations/votes are still being accepted, though, these are just early results....

FEMME: Spider Girl, Veilmist, Silver Slasher, Mystelor, Thora. We have enough candidates for this part, but will wait for final tally.

WIELDER: Tyr, Wild Hunstman, Grimbor, Silver Slasher (she's going to try out for both parts). We have enough for this part unless the voters change things.

BRAINS: Mystelor (another dual part candidate) Saturn Queen, Murdermaton, Thora (dual). We have enough candidates unless the voters change things.

BLASTER: Sun Emperor, Lazon. We need to choose 2 more, either from previous nominees or new ones.

BRUTE: Titania, Super Moby Dick of Space. We need two more, either from the previous nominees or new ones.

Wild huntsman appears in ADV 350-351, the Devil's Dozen story. (Archive 6 iirc).

Murdermaton appears in the reboot issue where Triad calls Ferro stupid. I'll have to check on the issue number... [Murdermaton]

Brains: Brainiac 4, Ras al-Ghoul

Things change very quickly around here...

Femme: Spider Girl,Veilmist,Silver Slasher,Esper Lass

Wielder: Tyr, Wild Huntsman, Silver Sword, Silver Slasher, Grimbor

Brains: Evolvo Lad, Saturn Queen, Murdermaton, Brainiac 4

Blaster: Sun Emperor, Quantam Queen, Lazon. We still need one more

Brute: Titania, Super Moby Dick of Space, Ol-Vir. We need one more. Extra campaigning for Amilia Crugg is in progress....

Posted by Thriftshop Debutante on :

If you need muscle, how about Dev ("my middle name is Drama") -Em?

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

Good enough!

Brute: Titania, SMDoS, Ol-Vir and Amilia Crugg

Leeta87 and Dev have been noted.

We still need another candidate for Blaster.

All polls are still open, things could change...

Stuff to do:

Figure Out What The Heck To Do With The Super-Companions

Make/produce an image, event, game or what have you with the theme FOOD, WATER, BOOKS. Your choice, but make it good.

Pajama Party!

Staff the Visitors' Information Booth in Metropolis.

Aww, you kids go to Nine Planets and have yourselves a good time.

Will the five be working together as a team or competing against one another?

Posted by Quislet, Esq. on :

Another Blaster: Fire Lad

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

Teeds deeds and Quis' Blaster are noted.

Polls will stay open, but there are some definite front runners:

Femme: Spider Girl, Veilmist, Silver Slasher, Esper Lass

Wielder: Tyr, Wild Hunstman, Silver Sword, Silver Slasher and Grimbor. We have one too many in this category. The Empress will call for a resolution to this problem, after final polls are closed.

Brains: Evolvo Lad, Saturn Queen, Murdermaton, Brainiac 4

Blaster: Sun Emperor, Quantam Queen, Lazon and we still need consensus on a final candidate. We will hold a special election if needed.

Brute: Titania, Super Moby Dick of Space, Ol-Vir and Amilia Crugg

We also had more than one nomination for Thora and for Mystelor, so the Empress will need to deal with them somehow.

Silver Slasher can be the Weapon Wielder.

ok i'll play, i'll try to keep with other votes, to not confuse things.

(but i wasnt kidding about emerald empress being able to kick butt in any category [Wink] )

Femme:Silver Slasher

Wielder: Wild Huntsman (This category is hard..maybe Computo)

Brains: Saturn Queen

Blaster: Lazon (his powers were always underutilized)

Brute: Ol-Vir

Okay, these are the nominees.....I wanted to have four from each category, but I thought about it and decided that things just don't need to be THAT rigid.

Femme: Spider Girl, Veilmist, Silver Slasher, Esper Lass, Nightwind, Mystelor.

Wielder: Tyr, Wild Hunstman, Silver Sword, Silver Slasher and Grimbor.

Brains: Evolvo Lad, Saturn Queen, Murdermaton, Brainiac 4.

Blaster: Sun Emperor, Quantam Queen, Lazon.

Brute: Titania, Super Moby Dick of Space, Ol-Vir and Amilia Crugg.

The first challenge will begin soon...

The Empress has made her first administrative decision for this competition...

Mystelor and Thora have been removed from competition, as the Empress has other plans for them.

Silver Slasher shall be placed in the Weapon Wielder category and removed from the Femme Fatale category. Since we have too many there, Grimbor shall be removed. He has had enough spotlight recently.

Leeta87 shall be added to the Energy Blaster category.

Therefore, the contestants for this first round shall be....

Quantum Queen
Leeta 87

Posted by Seth Gaterra on :

Keep Sun Emperor; he looked more like an elemental spirit in that picture, than a mortal man. Makes me wonder what the child would be like?

Keep Quantum Queen; someone who could finally give Apollo his comeuppance!

Wasn't impressed with Leeta 87; my impression was that she was in a futile struggle. If the picture had taken place a few moments later with the ape flinching back from her blast, I'd have been more impressed.

Lazon fleeing from Charma? Please... all he had to do was go to light form to evade her power, then either blind her or blast her. Because how are pheremones supposed to affect pure energy?!

Sun Emperor 2 votes

Note...I love the commentary! Yes, good questions...

How did things work out for Leeta87? Did she kayo that ape? When it let her go, did something on the ground catch her off balance? We'll never know!

Is Lazon already under Charma's control, but because of his power, fleeing is all he can manage?

Can we always predict what happens when Sun Emp kisses a lass?

Just like in the modelling competitions, any non Legionniare is eligible to enter and win this competition. I assume the Empress would be annoyed if heroes win roles. She'll probably try to convert them. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Meanwhile, I've completed pencils and dialogue for two complete challenges, so it's just a matter of scanning, coloring and lettering.

Stay tuned!

Okay, the challenge for the brainy ones is posted...

A big part of the fun for me is to take all the suggestions for situations and apply them to the characters chosen, sometimes tweaking things a bit.... I admit that this challenge had a lot more comedy...but comedy is for intellectuals, right?

So, which 2 should stay in the game?

Saturn Queen
Murdermaton
Brainiac 4
Evolvo Lad

Posted by Eryk Davis Ester on :

Yay! I love the latest challenge! I'm going to have to think awhile before I decide who to vote for!

But I will say now that I bet Ferro's getting called "stupid" even as I type this!

Posted by Seth Gaterra on :

Definitely keep Evolvo -- his interpretation of a science chart carries the "brains" theme. Though with all due respect, why not have a Protean form as the final stage? The shedding of the physical body for a psychic energy-form is a cliche; the greatest evolution for a physical form would be to instantly adapt to any enviroment.

Keep Brainiac 4 -- but it's more by default. Her parody of a 50's sitcom housewife didn't thrill me. Though by Querl's expression and the way his hand's at his chest, it looks more like she's driving him to a heart attack than insanity?! [Eek!]

Reject Saturn Queen -- except for the earrings, you can't tell it's her. And she's not doing anything showing extraordinary intellect, let alone showing any psychic prowess?

Definitely reject Murdermaton -- if that's the extent of his skill and intellect, then I could beat him! [Smile]

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

The only response I think neccessary is to say that many in the universe despise Proteans, don't trust them. That makes the choice to depict them as the final step in humankind's evolution pretty much preposterous!

I hope everyone realizes that the contestants are *given* their basic challenge. They didn't choose what it was. It is, however, up to the contestant to do it in an interesting way, a way that would *impress* the Empress.

So, for example, Evolvo Lad was told to wear a loincloth in the snow. I think it was very clever of him to create that evolution of man image and end with a "preposterous" form.

I don't know if that was clear from the beginning.....

If anyone wants to change their vote because of that, I don't mind. Even for the Energy Blasters challenge.

Speaking of hazards... the production company better watch it or there's gonna be a child-endangerment charge. Love the Chlor pinup. But SLASHER, why in the UP are you at a kids' party? Tch. I will say though that Lydda and Tas don't seem to be scared so much as well, there she goes again.

SILVER SWORD is a better sentient than I. I have spent weeks fruitlessly puzzling over just what to do with the Super-Companions. Trebia strides in and turns them into her Super-Florodora Boys...of Space. Brilliant.

Wild Huntsman. Gotta say, that Bank Beast looks like it's having fun. Ooh, ooh, what's the next part of the game? Clever, yes.

Spider Girl kept getting mad because the ice cream kept melting onto her hair.

Nightwind had a terrible case of nerves, doing that to the Legion android stand-ins.

The crowd that came to see Veilmist in her booth was more than the SPs could handle. We had to bring in private security.

I think the stylist on Esper Lass' shoot was on something. That was the best picture we could get.

Which 2 should make it to the next round? Which 2 should not?

Keep Spider Girl and Nightwind.

Posted by Seth Gaterra on :

Keep Nightwind. The Legion deserves some comeupppance for the way they sneered at so many applicants that actually wanted to do good.

Keep Spider Girl. Cute use of her power in that picture, and it's better than the other two applicants.

Keep Nightwind and Spider Girl.

Veilmist's picture didn't do anything for her, and I've realized that I don't like Esper Lass's look at all.

Posted by Thriftshop Debutante on :

The Femme Fatale. Power and allure.

Veilmist. Sentients hop universes for her. Of course, as a powerful teleporter, she could go get them herself, but she hardly needs to. Marvelous.

Officer Erin's report tells you everything you need to know.

Spider Girl. Come into my ice-cream parlor, said Sussa.... Go on and take that candy, baby...and feel the sting.

Side note: would someone get Sarya some ice cream? Maybe a whole Parfaital Five.

OUT:

Nightwind: Sarya! I must disagree. Reminds you of you? You're not a coulda-woulda-shoulda kind of woman. Forget l'esprit de l'escalier, you would have blasted the staircase to hell.

Anyway, rumor has it that Nightwind was nervous blasting the androids. Hardly ruthless.

Esper Lass: Oops indeed.

Okay, Empress, just what the sprock is going on with your personnel?

Are they Proteans?

Or Androids?

Have they all contracted the EMERALD PLAGUE?

I think the Society for the Promotion of Android and Protean Wellbeing and/or Space-OSHA is headed your way. Not to mention the Intergalactic Revenue Service.

Messing with the Legion is one thing. Fighting Space-Bureaucracy? Get your snapping fingers ready, girl, 'cause you're gonna work.

Ol-vir is excellent, with that unsettling smile. And I'll vote for Amelia, too, because I want to see more of her. Off with Titania and Moby Dick.

Off with Titania and Ol-vir. The Ol-vir picture is good, but I so hate that character (in the sense that he was well written, but I just despised him and was glad whenever he got his comeuppance) that I want them out of there.

I liked the Amelia Crugg picture quite a bit, and I'd just love to see the Super Moby-Dick go into the finals so it could be in a group shot with some of the others!

Keep Amelia and Moby. I like having a giant space whale in a competition.

Posted by Thriftshop Debutante on :

...but with Sarya you never know, so here's my ballot.

The Brutes.

Amilia Crugg. Great Hera! Forget scenery, scenario. She's got It. You can imagine her expertly piloting a ship one minute and dancing a devastating space-tango in the next. I'll bet she knows where the hot card games are, too. I have NO doubt that Sarya will choose her to advance to the next round, presuming there is one. EE just found a running buddy.

--->I'll add that "Simply Lookin' Good" reminds me of those classic Seventies t-shirt iron-ons like Here Come De Judge, Foxy Lady, and The Kid's Got Class.

Titania. Long on muscle, short on brain. Easily influenced. I can see all this appealing to Sarya even though other than strength-wise she's pretty much the opposite of Amilia. Strange how it works sometimes, huh?

Super-Moby. Yes, Empress, SMD is cute. But will it be cute when you're paper-training it?

Ol-Vir. A strong pic, but you know what you're going to get with Ol-Vir, right? Yep, it'll be I Luv Darkseid! Day every day. Sure to be beyond irritating when you're 10,000 times better looking than D-Boy. I won't even get into the wardrobe choices.

KEEP:
AMILIA
TITANIA

OK without looking at other people's votes.

I definitely like Titania matching her strength against the Sun Eater. That makes her a keeper for me.

I have always considered the Super Moby Dick of Space (like the original Moby Dick) to be a force of nature rather than a brute. So despite looking great destroying that building, I vote to reject.

Now between Amelia Crugg and Ol Vir. It would have been nice to see Amelia doing something. Although Ol Vir seemed to be using his heat vision to destroy that moon. (I loved the Empress' reaction) I think I'd keep Ol Vir, as he at least did something. Sorry Amelia, you are rejected.

The Empress seems to be getting increasingly impatient with the whole event. After looking at the great finalist group pic, I'm half expecting her to call off* the competition and take them universe-conquering instead.

(*with what I'm sure will be very *stylish* explosions)

That would be like an all-expenses paid luxury road show for this lot.

It's good to befriend the Empress. Scary, but good.

The next challenge is in development.

LLtE!

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

Alright, after mulling over a LOT of different ideas, the competition for the top two of each category has been determined.

Once the winner of each category is voted in, the Empress will test their mettle with a final challenge to determine their worthiness.

Stay tuned...

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

Okay, who do you want to be the Empress' BRUTE? Did you like the way Titania kayoed Amilia? Were you impressed by how Amilia stood triumphant over Titania? Who stays? Remember, after the titlist is chosen, she receives one more challenge....

Time to vote!

Posted by Thriftshop Debutante on :

Well, Titania looks totally bonkers. And check out that fist...it's a blur!

On the other hand, Amilia does the takedown without putting her cee-gar down. Style, girl, you got style.

BRUTE: AMILIA

Posted by Eryk Davis Ester on :

If you're forced to include your opponent in the picture, including them being knocked out of the picture is a good way to go! Actually, I'm not totally convinced that Titania is out of it in the Crugg pic. She looks like she might just get up and go for another round! And is that sweat breaking out on Amelia's forehead? Maybe she needs to lay off the cigars and get some exercise!

I'm voting Titania!

Posted by Xben on :

Based on these pictures alone, Titania gets my vote to stay

Posted by Seth Gaterra on :

Titania looks more impressive in her victory picture, since we're seeing the final attack instead of just the pose afterwards. She wins!

Posted by Doctor One on :

Titania for brute!

Posted by Pizza Delivery Girl on :

By the time the space-camera was ready, Amilia had already taken Titania *down*. Whereas in Titania's pic, it looks like we're still in the middle of a fight, captions aside. I know who *I*d want on my team.

Keep Amilia!

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

Who's the Brute?
4 Titania
2 Amilia

Polls remain open...

Posted by Fat Cramer on :

You've got to admire Amilia for keeping her cigar throughout the challenge, but Titania doesn't even break a sweat. So Brute = Titania.

Posted by Insomniac Girl on :

Hey! I want to see the brutes dishing out some brutality! While Titania succeeds admirably in that regard, Ms. Crugg's entry is so after the fact. Who's to guarantee us that it was really her who brought Titania down, and that there weren't any unfair means involved beforehand?

Keep Titania!

Posted by Quislet, Esq. on :

I have to go with Titania. Amelia doesn't real do anything. She could have just doped Titania and posed over her. No showing of her using her brute powers.

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

7 to 2, pretty clear results... Titania wins!

Alright, some changes have occurred! Marella is our only in to the Empress' competition now. Hope that journalistic integrity is intact!

Nightwind and Spider Girl have battled each other for the FEMME FATALE title. Who do you think should win?

Posted by Seth Gaterra on :

Spider Girl to win that fight. Nightwind looked like she was only annoying Sussa.

Posted by Xben on :

Spider Girl definitely came out on top in this one

Posted by Insomniac Girl on :

Hi, Sketch Lad! Congrats on the new computer and getting everything running again. Hope you didn't lose anything important with the old one.

I vote to keep Spider Girl.

Maybe I'm callous, but I prefer the more violence-laden entries; they seem to be more.... suitable for the position the contestants are vying for. In the Nightwind picture there's just not enough besting going on. More of a ruffling of hair. Now Sussa on the other hand...

Oh God, I love the last Emerald Empress picture (now with more Tizzles!).

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

3 votes to keep Spider Girl!

Thanks for the mention of the Empress portrait. I've wanted to do a picture like that for ages, and this seemed like the perfect venue!

I will admit that it seems like Spider Girl is really beating Nightwind in those pictures, but is Nightwind being more clever? Is she more charming? More entertaining? These are questions to ponder....

Well, I prefer to keep Nightwind. I've never liked Sussa anyway.

Give Nightwind credit for showing us something different. Not every blow (tee hee) is the coup de grace. On the other hand, anyone who's ever had a cataract test at the eye doctor's knows how evil a strategically applied puff of air can be.

I give my vote for the win to Spider Girl, however, because she's the Femme Fatale here. I think Nightwind is trying to go the Mentalla route, and femme, that was just fatal. I am doing you une faveur, Berta.

That Leeta pic gave me the creeps in a bad way.

So, who from the 2 good girls? Quantum Queen. I'm thinking Q2 can better fight the Empress if she needs to.

It would have had to be Saturn Queen... being a Brainiac means *never* choosing the shortest path between states A and B.

After all, B4 could have just shot Saturn Queen with a long range weapon, rather than inventing a brain-scrambler and then, somehow, convincing her opponent to put it on....

Posted by Seth Gaterra on :

I go with Saturn Queen; she seems to be enjoying her work more, and her victim's in more pain.

Posted by Fat Cramer on :

Tough, because Saturn Queen looks really humiliated whereas B4 could just be having a super-migraine.... However, B4 relied on machinery which might not always be available in times of crisis.

So keep Saturn Queen.

Saturn Queen- 5 votes
Brainiac 4- 3 votes

Polls are closted! It was a pretty close one, but Saturn Queen has enough of a lead to win the title of BRAINS of the OPERATION!

Now it's time to vote for who should get the WEAPONS WIELDER title...

SILVER SLASHER

Hmmmm. Have you picked out who from the 20th century the team will be challenging?

Titania vs Wonder Woman
Spider Girl vs Black Canary
Quantum Queen vs Green Lantern
Saturn Queen vs Oracle
Silver Slasher vs. Platinum

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

I did have some ideas about that, and your guesses are very close...so...let's keep this democratic..

Please make a list like Quis did just above. Which 20th century icons would you like to see the Emerald Empress' Five tackle?

Oh, btw...lets call them the Emerald Five.

I was thinking JLA...
Titania vs Superman
Saturn Queen vs Martian Manhunter
Spider Girl vs Batman
Silver Slasher vs Wonder Woman
Quantum Queen vs Flash

quite similar to Quis' ideas

I also thought it'd be cool to pit them against Bat villains...
Titania vs Bane
Spider Girl vs Catwoman
Quantum Queen vs Penguin
Saturn Queen vs Riddler
Silver Slasher vs Joker

What else ya got?

Posted by Quislet, Esq. on :

Oooooooo Let me think of villians for them to fight.

Titania vs Solomon Grundy
Spider Girl vs Ragdoll
Quantum Queen vs Felix Faust
Saturn Queen vs Gorilla Grodd
Silver Slasher vs Catwoman

as you can see I went beyond Batman villians.
