I've just done some digging through my Archive Editions, focused on John Forte's art era, focused further on his obscure female characters. Without listing issue numbers, and without descriptions, see if you can figure out who I'm describing.....

*Autograph Girl
*Redheaded Applicant in Green
*Dr. Landro's Hot Nurse (okay, she has some LW cred....hello Cobalt Kid!)
*Lovey Dovey
*Gossips at Crypt Lass
*Miss Doll World
*Sun Woman (okay, sometimes they're actually named already!)
*Xennian Girl
*Miss Famished Far Planet
*Try Again Lass
*Character Anaylysis Monitor Maiden
*Bad Bad Mom from Khann
*Kissandra
*Leta Lal (has she appeared again, maybe in Superman stories?)
*Dr. Hanscom's Urgent Nurse
*Markita (grossly overlooked for the XGF Model competition)
*Actress from "The Terrible Cyclopean Creature" Lass
*Vorn Woman

I have to admit that a couple obscure women from John Forte's run were left off this list...namely Queen Azura and Nila, but that was because they have both had major parts in Pinup Model competitions.

Right now, I'm just interested in discussion, but I imagine that the favorite five of this list could readily become the next set of competitors in a Pinup Model challenge....

If I were to pick my top five from this list, they'd be:

Dr. Landro's Hot Nurse
Miss Doll World
Sun Woman
Kissandra
Actress/Cyclopean...

IF....

Paging Nightcrawler....
I created this thread *really* late at night/early morning, and I went to sleep thinking about it. I dreamed that you'd created little graemlins for each of these ultra obscure Fab Forte Girls. Isn't that a neat dream?

I need to look up who some of these people are!

Posted by Thriftshop Debutante on :

Okay, I own perhaps one or two of these and I haven't had a copy of any Archive in my hands in years, but here goes:

Autograph Girl: izzat autograph signed by a DUPLI-WRITING STYLUS?

Dr. Landro's Hot Nurse: well, she's a starlet on the Legion board, so her fame has far surpassed non-hot Doctor Landro.

Lovey Dovey: that's no lady, that's my grife!

Sun Woman: I believe I recall her outfit & head adornment, but heck if I can remember her story.

Khann Mom: Of course! "Madam, please have your little fiends play with their balloon toys elsewhere!" Or words to that effect.

Kissandra: From Romance Valley RK-somethingsomethingsomething(?).

Markita: the one who, with any luck, aced her Flying Ed classes?

I wonder if any of the unnamed lasses were...Josephine?

Maybe during Christmas holiday, till then I'll be lucky to be home before 7pm (after going to work at 7am).

I'll be scanning and posting pictures of them when I get a chance. I'm into it.

Nighty, no worries! It can stay on the back-burner. No big hurry. I think about stuff for LW at night a lot, but it was cool to have an actual dream about it!

I still haven't written down all the issue numbers they appeared in, but I did scan the images! Remember, MOST of the names of these characters are made up!

Is it just me or does Autograph Girl look freakishly like Hilary Swank?

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

I think a reasonable way to get to know these girls better is to examine them just a couple or few at a time....

So, I'll begin with Autograph Girl.
She debuted in Adventure Comics #301, "The Secret Origin of Bouncing Boy." This is the story that also debuted one Lester Spiffany.

I might have made a mistake by only scanning that one, single autograph hound... there were several in the crowd outside the upside-down rocket ship hq that day. In fact, I'm going by the Archive Edition #1 copy of the story, and there are actually 3 different redheads shown on that page. The one I posted and another one are wearing the same shade of violet, but are clearly two different girls. I wonder if someone with the actual original issue could let us know if the coloring was different, originally. It matters! (To some of us, anyway.)

Yes, indeed, Lightning Lad uses the Dupli-Writing Stylus to sign "thousands of autographs simultaneously." No writer's cramp for Garth! Everyone came with their "sensitized scripto-plates" so it seems like there was no problem with not getting an "original" autograph. I wonder if those gadgets are like what we use at the check out at some stores, now?

So, what do we know about these Autograph Girls? The Legionnaires feel both honored and annoyed by them. They chuckle and smile, but then they put up a force-shield around hq so they won't be "disturbed by too persistent admirers." That is SO like today's celebrities! Wow. The fans did all agree to leave once the sheild was up, though one guy was pushing against it.

EDE thought the girl above looks like Hilary Swank. It might be my scan, because looking in the book, I don't see that similarity as much. As much fun as it might be to make Autograph Girl into a fanatic, stalker type, she's actually just a nice girl.

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

Redheaded Applicant in Green also debuted in ADV. #301. She has a bouffant hairdo that rivals Lydda's and wears a green ensemble which is VERY form fitting! (The girls's stacked, okay!) She persisted in her try-out even after watching Lester Spiffany and Storm Boy get rejected. She had a couple of lines, which basically reinforced how famed and honored the Legion is. She was shocked to learn that Chuck had been rejected before he was accepted.

We never got to learn any more about her, like what her power is or her name. We know that she is determined and respectful. She's a scene stealer. I mean, she was surrounded by guys the whole story, she never vamped it up, nor shyed away. This makes me think that she has a power that gives her great confidence.

Of course, being a redhead in green makes me think she's of Irish descent. Imagine her saying this with an Irish accent, "The super-heroes are famed... and honored... all over the universe!!"
I can totally "hear" it that way!

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

I actually missed a couple of fun Obscure Girls from ADV 301... there's a girl with a wacky triangle shaped hairdo laughing at Chuck, in one panel. She actually thinks the "bouncing checks" comment another man made was funny. I'd imagine giving her a Joan Rivers or Kathy Griffin type of personality. Mocks Others Lass? Harrass Lass?

There was also a cute young lady working in the box office outside the Robot Gladiator Tournament stadium. Box Office Betty? Ticket Mistress?

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

Dr. Landro's Hot Nurse was in Adv #303, "The Fantastic Spy." A lot has been said about her in other threads, but let's be clear, she's HOT! She seems to be pretty professional, but her gaze will go right through you!

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

Lovey Dovey, as I call her, was also in ADV 303. She is Chameleon Boy in disguise. He and Cosmic Boy dressed as a honeymoon couple in order to deliver the Doomsday Bomb, via Earth Tube, to the other side of the planet. The story's more complicated, but the bomb was stolen from them.

I love how Cham chose to look like a total knockout of a woman, with all the bright blue. He/she tells Cos not to get too close, or else, yet he/she fems it up by cooing over how thrilling the ride is, "darling." C'mon man, you loved being Lovey Dovey!

There's another woman in the tube-car, a raven haired beauty, who has a sort of distant look in her eye as she takes her freeze-pill. She seems kind of interesting. "Travels Medicated Lass?"

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

The two girls outside of Lightning Lad's crypt are kinda gossiping about Saturn Girl, which seems like they're judging her, being mean, but they might actually care about how she feels. It's hard to tell.

They're both very pretty, decked out in good jewelry and glamorous outfits. Other people in the crowd look very sad. They have less emotion on their faces. It's hard to tell what they're thinking/feeling. Are they just Legion fans, trying to get a glimpse? Are they opportunists, trying to meet a Legionnaire when he or she is down?

They wonder what Saturn Girl's thinking, but Saturn Girl is crying, wiping her eye with a hanky. Maybe these girls are kinda dumb? Clueless Lasses? Missed Their Cue Maidens?

This will take some more thought....

If I remember correctly. Lovey Dovey is actually Chameleon Boy telling Cosmic Boy not to get fresh.

I remember the Sun Woman story. Night Girl leads a revoly in order to gain Legion Membership.

I can't really remember all of them.

I wonder if Red Haeded Applicant is really Iresa stalking Bouncing Boy.

--Yes. That's her. See my above analysis of their scene.

Dr. Landro's Hot Nurse: well, she's a starlet on the Legion board, so her fame has far surpassed non-hot Doctor Landro.

--Absolutely. I'm just glad to continue her path to stardom!

Lovey Dovey: that's no lady, that's my grife!

--Hee! Right!

Sun Woman: I believe I recall her outfit & head adornment, but heck if I can remember her story.

--I'm still getting to her....

Khann Mom: Of course! "Madam, please have your little fiends play with their balloon toys elsewhere!" Or words to that effect.

--Oh! That's someone else. I wonder if I missed her or if she was depicted by another artist? Must investigate! I'll get more dirt on Khann Mom soon.

Kissandra: From Romance Valley RK-somethingsomethingsomething(?).

--More info on Kissandra soon. I TOTALLY want to do a portrait of her!

Markita: the one who, with any luck, aced her Flying Ed classes?

I wonder if any of the unnamed lasses were...Josephine?

"Come Josephine... in my time machine..."

Popular 30th century song.

See Antennae Lad's first appearance.

In Adventure #310, "Doom of the Super-Heroes," the Legion went in search of Mask Man, who ended up being a descendant of Mxyzptlk. They went to Doll World, where Shrinking Violet met a pretty little lady. She instantly referred Vi to Ak Aru, the wisest man of their people, their Papa Smurf, if you will.

Miss Doll World has the short stature of the people of her home, plus she's sexy! She's got a curvy body, in a tight sweater, she wears high heels and a mini skirt. Her hair is fire red and long and neatly styled.

Forte could have drawn Vi meeting any kind of character you can think of, but he chose a hottie! Actually, was this Vi's choice? Out of everyone in that city, she chose HER to ask. Hmmm....

In Adv. #315, "The Legionnaires' Super-Contest," the Legion is impressed by the Subs, so they give each of them a chance to compete to win a spot in the actual Legion.

Night Girl meets her *perfect* arch-nemesis, Sun Woman. SW has become the evil tyrant of the planet Vannar, by using super powers drawn from the sun. Lydda knew that Sun Woman wears a harness, an invention stolen from a great scientist, in order to gain those powers. Okay, right away I suspect it was Lydda's *father* who invented that thing! That's how Lydda knew so much about it. (Of course, that could have all been public info, but I like my scenario better!)

Night Girl defeats Sun Woman by blotting out the sun with the smoke from burning a particular black rock, and she dramatically cuffs her and flies her off to justice!

Sun Woman is well...HOT! She has a sexy curvy body. She wears a skimpy one-piece costume with heels. That harness has keen glowing points on the shoulders, and she wears that kitchy sun headdress behind her head, with her blond hair pulled back. She has a nasty look on her face all the time with those evil, flared eyebrows. A grand vampy bad girl!

Quis,
I don't think the redhead is Iresa stalking Chuck, because he was fat then. Didn't she only date him when he was thin?

Posted by Eryk Davis Ester on :

Maybe she only dates people with dramatically different weights than herself! So when she was thin, she stalked chubby guys, but once she gained weight herself, she only dug skinny guys!

Or mayber not...

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

I just don't think it was Iresa. Iresa was Iresa. I prefer my idea that she's a 30th century Irish Lass!

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

...but, Iresa wore green too....

Posted by Eryk Davis Ester on :

Maybe it's Iresa's more attractive sister?

I confused Markita with MARYA, Jan's Adventure-era date. Was she the one ditched mid-date and mid-air?

Posted by Thriftshop Debutante on :

I got one word for Lovey Dovey: boffo.

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

I can't help but wonder how Markita and Marya would have done in the XGF competition.

I'll be digging up more details about the rest of the Fab Fortes soon...

Grife, in order to explain who some of these Obscure Girls are, I have to *read the whole story!* What's a sketcher to do? Read I guess!

Hang in there....

Of course, if anyone else has anything to add, I'd love to hear it!

Reading is fundamental! [Saturn Girl]

I'm so proud of Dr. Landro's Hot Nurse being so popular on the Legion Board. It was my shining Legion Board moment! [Big Grin]

Lovey Dovey...er, Cos sure was kinda dorky in that story.

Sun Girl--wow, kinda HOT! I didn't remember her at all!

Autograph Girl -- Eryk is right! It looks just like Hillary Swank!

And check out how fashionable those gossips are! Necklaces, bracelets, earrings! Gossips always have so much money [Big Grin]

Cobie, I'm glad you're here! Any insight you have into any of these characters is invited!

Let me just quickly say that the Subs, Night Girl in particular, were *awesome* back in these Adventure Comics! Lydda did some deeds, man!

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

Okay, so as I mentioned above, it's hard to describe some of these obscure ladies without explaining why they were in the stories....

In Adv. #319, "The Legion's Suicide Squad," space travel was being hindered by the planet Throon. Any ship that passed that area was blasted by rays from a "neutralizing force projector" which would disable the ship. So, our Miss Famished Far Planet and her people began missing their food shipments (they have no food on their own world).

This interesting alien woman was the only female shown on her world. They have very distinctive, large eyes with yellow skin and black markings on their faces. Her hair is brown, and very neatly and intentionally styled. She has a typical, curvacious human body, and she wears tight clothing featuring thin stripes. The men shown around her all dress alike. The boys all dress alike. I wonder if the other females dress like her, or do the women vary their looks? The men and boys are bald, but have the same markings and coloration.

These sentients are all looking off into different directions, seemingly watching for the supply ship to come in. I wonder if, with their giant eyes, they have some sort of vision powers or at least enhanced vision?

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

In the same issue as above, Try Again Lass appears in a single panel. By now, the Legion has tried to stop the events on Throon. They've failed. Try Again Lass says that if the Legion can't beat Throon, no one can. She hopes they "try again."

TAL is a very glamorous Metropolis girl! She has the big blonde hairdo, good jewelry, stylish clothing.

She's obviously a big Legion fan and very optimistic. I like to think that she always looks on the bright side. Like when the Sun Eater came, or when Darkseid attacked, she was there cheering the Legion on! I bet she'd be a great friend and/or family member. Hey, maybe she knows Flyntt Broj? They'd be a good pair!

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

Oh, back to my comment about the Subs... the weapons on Throon did overcome the Legion. The Subs went in and tried too, and it was LYDDA who discovered that all the havoc created by Throon was caused by its two sole survivors, the zany old men! Go Lydda! Do what NO ONE ELSE in the univese could! I wonder if TAL ever knew that? Maybe she'd be the biggest Night Girl fan then?

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

In Adv #320 "The Revenge of the Knave from Krypton,"
we meet Character Analysis Monitor Lass. Brainy demonstrates that machine's ability by projecting it at her as she drives an air-car. CAML is a typical Fabulous Forte, perfect blond hair, good jewelry, stylish clothes. Brainy says she's a tourist. She just looks normal in the air car, but her projection is EVIL! It seems to me the Legion should have used the CAM more often at try-outs.

I can't help but wonder exactly how effective the CAM is. I mean, maybe this girl isn't really evil. Maybe she just has airway rage? She's a tourist, driving alone, maybe she's lonely? Maybe she's lost? Why don't I want to believe she's evil? I'm skeptical about Brainy's device, I guess... We never did see it again, did we?

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

In Adv #325, "Lex Luthor Meets the Legion of Superheroes," we see Bad Khann Mom. Khann is described as "inhabited only by criminal outcasts of hundreds of worlds." Mom is gushing over how wonderful it is that Demo the Dreadful sold his birth planet into slavery. Her little son wants to be just like him when he grows up.

Hmmm... I think I prefer the name Mama Khann...

Anyway, she's a typical Fab Forte, with the beauty and the clothes and bod. She has short raven hair this time, as does her son.

Several other men of Khann are shown, but no other women. Are women scarce there? Has Mama Khann taken a matriarchal role and doesn't want any interference from other fems? What does Demo think of her? Who is the boy's father? Lots to ponder!

I LOVE Lydda in the Adventure Era. That's a great shot of her wrasslin' Sun Woman.

This is one of my favorite Legion covers. Iconic Night Girl, right there.

Heh, thanks for posting that cover, Teeds.
Forte rarely did the covers. It was almost always Swan. I want to look for Swan's Swans next! I also want to look for Jason Armstrong's Obscure Girls.

Hmmm... I need a good title for Jason Armstrong's Obscure Girls...

In Adv.326, "Revolt of the Girl Legionnaires," I neglected the cast of "To the Cosmos, Forever!" It's the "most sensational musical space extravaganza EVER staged." It was playing at a theater in the Interplanetary Fair. There were some lovely female performers in that show.

Also at the Interplanetary Fair, Triplicate Girl took Invisible Kid to the "Romance Valley of Planet R-K528" exhibit. It's an "authentic copy" of the universe's most romantic spot. Now, I just have to say that it didn't look very romantic to me. There are some very large purple and orange flowers and some very large purple butterflies, all set against a sparse yellow background. The focal point is the "light beam" painting of Kissandra. It looks like a regular painting to me.
Now, I'll just have to average-in the fact that there are many, many ideas of romance in the galaxy.

The legend of Kissandra is that "they say the aura of this alien beauty brings happiness to TRUE LOVERS who approach her shrine." She is beautiful, all blond in white with the gold and pink aura glowing.

All the regular questions apply to Kissandra. Who is she? Where is she from? Is she real or a myth? What culture spawned her legend? Etc Etc...

I definitely want to attempt to illustrate my own version of this exhibit. I want prettier floral arrangements, more delicate butterflies, and I want the light beam painting of Kissandra to look like a light beam painting. Wish me luck!

Extras! Jason Armstrong's Nifty Extra's! The JANEs!
Works for me!

While still discussing Adv 326, I should mention Queen Azura of Femnaz. She really belongs here, even though I already featured her in the Platinum and Gold Pinup Challenge. She is stunning.

I do want to acknowledge her people, too. She has some serious warrior women, who wear pointed red helmets and gun-metal armor. Also, the more "civilian" women seem to wear short, sleeveless dresses with wristbands and waistbands. I was also interested in the idol of their Moon Goddess (to whom they shoot "prayer rockets." She seems to be lovely, in a dark, skimpy ceremonial outfit and dark hair. Her statue stands, arms outstretched in front of a beautiful green temple. I'm imagining the pinup now!

Leta Lal was in Adv 333, "The War Between Krypton and Earth." She's just stunningly beautiful! She wears that flimsy, sexy nighty-like dress. She was ALL over Superboy, and he was ALL over her! Then, to top it off, she was artificially evolved into a mermaid. She's just what dreams are made of! In an editor's narration, it is mentioned that Leta Lal will go on to have a descendant named Lori Lemaris, who meets Superman.

Leta and Superboy pretty much played the Romeo and Juliet roles in this clash of cultures story. Leta was very brave to simply go along with the transformation and say goodbye to Supes.

Did I mention that she looked HOT?

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

In Adv. 335, "Starfinger!" we see Dr. Hanscom's Urgent Nurse. She looks attractive enough, but she's very professionally giving the visiting Legionnaires their message that the Chief of the Science Police called. I can't help but compare her to Dr. Landro's Hot Nurse. Would *she* have appeared so flustered when delivering such a message? Sun Boy's looking at her with NO interest at all. That usually means one thing...she's not hot.

Still, she is attractive, so it must be her attitude that keeps the men uninterested. Um...maybe she could care less what the men think of her? Plenty to speculate on....

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

Markita appears in Adv 338, "The Menace of the Sinister Super-Babies!" Wow, what a vamp! She is ALL OVER Lyle in the Romances of History Museum. She desperately wants him to kiss her and fall in love with her and get him to marry her. She and he both acknowledge that in their thoughts. He's so relieved when Saturn Girl telepathically calls him to duty. Her thought bubble is hysterical... "The sneak is slipping off the hook, after all my scheming! *BAH!*"

Obviously, she's going for status by persueing Lyle, a Legionnaire. She's got all the assets to make it happen! The zig-zag neckline on that outfit and the gold choker really make the eyes center in... Poor Lyle, he looked kinda scared on that date!

EDE hopes she found a good husband...with her sense of determination, she MUST have!

Posted by Sketch Lad on :

The actress from the Cyclopean movie was in Adv 338 also. She starred opposite Chameleon Boy in his role as the creature. Saturn Girl called Cham while he was filming; he had to leave. The director moaned that they'd have to shoot around the creature until he returned. I really admire that director for wanting a to only use the creature as Cham performs it, instead of stunt doubles or special effects.

The gorgeous actress seemed annoyed at Cham's departure. Not much else to say about her. I mentioned that she's gorgeous, right?

Posted by Eryk Davis Ester on :

One wonders if Cham's side job as an actor had a role in opening up opportunities for other Durlans, such as Yera, in the movie industry.

Gotta dig out TMK #11.

Try Again Lass' hair... if she was in a pinup contest, in her second picture, I'd have several wisps of her hair spilling down from the mass above. Then, in the third pinup, I'd have only a little bit of the height still in place. By the fourth, she'd have lovely, bouncing, silky locks! That's just how I like the hair to roll.

Yes, yes, yes! I suddenly am filled with wonderul images of TALass and Flynt living happily ever after! Or better, cheering them on at the end of Zero Hour and as Flynt gets a little sad, T.A. Lass looks at the readers and says, "we'll just have to try again!".

Teeds, that's one of my all-time favorite covers too. The Subs are some of my favorites (especially the original five + Color Kid), and this cover draws me in everytime.

Fortes really drew some glamorous girls Dean! I never realized it until this thread.

Oh, my work is done, then!

(Actually, I still need to give an analysis of Vorn Woman, but I haven't re-read that story yet...)

This was a lot of fun to do. Yes, Forte did seem to want to promote glamor and that's good for us!

I think the Vorn Woman is one of the most interesting. She's attractive, which is more or less a given, but her simple-chic clothing and lack of jewelry sets her apart.

This was great, and it set an older Xenn (from Xenn) onto the path of Holo Model stardom!

I might have made a mistake by only scanning...one...autograph hound. [T]here were several in the crowd. [G]oing by the Archive...there are actually 3 different redheads shown on that page. The one I posted and another one are wearing the same shade of violet, but are clearly two different girls. I wonder if someone with the actual original issue could let us know if the coloring was different... It matters!

EDE thought the girl above looks like Hilary Swank. It might be my scan, because looking in the book, I don't see that similarity as much.

And does it matter indeed!

My original copy of AdCo 301 shows two autograph hounds in violet, but with obviously different garb.

Hilari (Autograph Girl) Swan-K has auburn hair and is dressed in a paler shade of violet (more of a mauve, actually) with no collar. So yes, I also see the similarity to which EDE alludes.

Other Autograph Girl, dressed in plum with white stripes across her collar, is a carrot top (like Lana Lang) and speaks from the far left of the first panel on page two.

If we include auburn and strawberry blond in the broader definition of "red hair", then she is one of FOUR redheads shown on that page, the other two being Dirk and Garth. The Archive Edition, apparently, HAS been recolored. In Sketch Lad's scan, Dressed-in-Blue Boy (between Autograph Girl and Lightning Lad) is shown fully colored with pink face, whereas in the original, he is knocked out in monochrome like the rest of the background characters (albeit a different monochrome), only Hilari and Garth in the foreground being fully colored.

Adventure 301 is a fun issue, beginning with a beautiful Curt Swan and George Klein cover and 13 page Superboy story with Krypto cameo ("Lex Luthor and Clark Kent, Cell-Mates", reprinted in Superman Family #166).

ALSO, for the record, AdCo 301 contains the first published occurrence of the phrase "Bits of Legionnaire Business", in a letter from Allen Pilcher of Memphis, Tennessee.

Thanks for the info LL.

Clearly, Hilari Swan-K is emerging as "one to watch" in the annals of the Legion of Obscure Characters Who Become Big LW Stars.

Nazdravye.

I am so way behind.

Is there an official roster of the LoOCWBBLWS?
Is there a fan club?
Have I already signed up?

I feel the Lamprey images are a bit of a stretch, but the Try Again Lass image is perfect! I don't think she needs to be a Carggite, thosc can be reflections.

Just my unsolicited opinions!

Hey Candle, did you ever see my post in the Critics Corner thread?

I LOVE opinions!

And, yes, thank-you.
I've loved discovering all of these wonderful threads.
My only unhappiness is finding so many blanks.
I hate missing anything visual that I can enjoy (and hoard) of the Legion.

Hey, what do you guys think of these Fabulous Fortes done by current artists?

Markita by Eddy Barrows. "Lovey Dovey" Chameleon Boy by Amanda Conner. Leta Lal by Mike Grell. "Dr. Landro's Hot Nurse and Dr. Hanscom's Urgent Nurse" by Dan Leister. "Rain Girl" and "Try Again Lass" by Steve Lightle. Kissandra by Joe Prado. "Actress from Terrible Cyclopean Creature Film" by Tim Seeley.

(Note: Rain Girl was the name someone gave for the Red-Haired Applicant)

Posted by Candle on :

I'd love to see ANY Sun Woman, actually!
[Sun Woman of Vannar]

I'm bumping this because I've edited the Lamprey entry.

I really like them with bigger pictures and I LOVE the first one much better then the original.
The second one has the same picture, ust waaaaay bigger!

I just noticed, you don't have a description for Vorn Woman.

Thanks for posting that Sun Woman sketch, way back when! I guess this thread got away from me.

Hmm... yeah... I guess I never re-read the Vorn story. I'll have to do that when I can.

It was a nice surprise to come here and find this thread bumped!
