Title Unknown, Notepad document of Question Lad

This is a strange planet,
One which does not accept me for who I am.
Though some have grand plans for it,
I will never understand it, no matter how long I cram,
For the next meeting or project,
Despite what my collegues may expect.
In order to serve as a shield to protect the poor and weak,
I face villains I would rather not seek.

I could go back to Nasger,
Where I can shed my anger.
Is the King still searching for Eldorado?
Even if it is a fantasy, I now wish to go.
They say my homeworld Salvador, she cannot be saved.
I ask, "Does the cartel still live on that hill?"
The reply, "Of course, are you feeling ill?"
So I will return to Cabral where there is gold,
And someone with a hand out, but not to be hold.
To hear what my friends know or not know of that war,
And Urraca's rambling until her throat goes sore.
I wonder about that our little mining town,
Which means so much for the crown.

Still, I know I would tire as days pass,
The heat melts us into one large mass,
And the universe seems so far away.
As long as one holds money, ones holds sway.
For without money, they act like you do not have a face.
Ones without money do not own space,
And are regarded as pawns in the game,
Who are not even capable of shame.

Some think I only obey,
That I am easy to sway.
They might even be right,
Maybe I am alittle too eager to fight.
I know I cannot save them all,
But if I did not believe I could save even one, why would I accept this call?
Legionworld is a strange planet, she confuses me to no end.
However, I see that she is worthy to defend.
Sometimes I feel a bit like I am in a Lewis book at times, with all these monsters and magic I do not understand,
And places filled with things very grand.
Then I remember Lewis wrote a book called, "Till We All Have Faces".
So until we arrive at that fateful day,
Legionworld is a place I will proudly stay.

Wow! Excellent poem, Emily.

The reply, "Of course, are you filling ill?"

Should this be feeling?

I really like these lines:

For without money, they act like you do not have a face.
Ones without money do not own space,
And are regarded as pawns in the game,
Who are not even capable of shame.

Thank you. And yes, it should be feeling. Thank you, spelling and grammar is why I am not an English major.

You might be surprised at how many English majors are not good at spelling and grammar. One full-time English professor said last night that she hates grammar.

Writing is so much more than mechanics.

After the Dark Oval thing, he goes back to Cabral for awhile (as established in the Archery Range thread in MMB). There is a couple of story ideas I have regarding Nasger, but they would require the cooperation and collaboration of other players.

Wow, really loved it! You could feel an emotional punch throughout the poem.
