Just curious, other than LegionWorld.net, are there any other websites that you visit frequently?

Me, I hit the triumberate of comics news sites daily: Newsarama.com, Comicon.com, and Comicbookresources.com

I am registered at all three sites, although I rarely post. But I hit 'em daily to see what's up.

I also hit ComicsContinuum.com every few days and Mark Evanier's newsfromme.com at least once a week. I generally also hit silverbullettcomicbooks.com once a week for columns by Wolfman & Rozakis.

Of course, ebay.com gets visited daily, although I have not bid on anything in months.

I hit jayski.com daily for my nascar news, and cnn.com for life in the real world. My guily pleasure is drudgereport.com

So where are you when not here?

I check in with Comics Continuum about every day and Comic Book Resoureces sometimes. I check out the DCMB every so often. I used to go to LegionPics, but not since the whole "crisis". I also read the comic reviews at fourth rail every week. Sometimes I hit the Village Voice for some articles and stuff. For my porn needs I go to HardCoreJunky -- it's free stuff.

EBay is a must. I visit my various Yahoo groops-- the LMBP, UltraMatthew's Olivier Coipel group, ECC and X-toons-- daily. I check my hotmail and Yahoo e-mail accounts several times a day. DCBS, Mile High and Lone Star are frequent stops, also. I hit WWE.com several times a week, though my interest in "the product" is waning. MSWatch and the LDN Y-group for keeping up with others with M.S.

But mostly, HERE!!!! [Wink]

I'm a big fan of www.theonion.com (though the quality has slipped a bit of late) and www.snopes.com for my urban-legend one-stop shopping...

I also frequent a couple of Star Trek and reality show (e.g., The Amazing Race, Survivor) message boards.

They have porn on the Internet? [Confused]

I hit all the places PB mentions except the nascar and cnn sites.

Occasionally I'll even hit the DCMBs, but my patience is wearing thin there.

The trio of Newsarama.com, Comicon.com, and Comicbookresources.com for me too. Used to also go to Comics2Film but since they started putting their stuff up at CBR I don't bother. Darkhorizons.com is another must for me. Its updated about 3 to 4 times a week with all sorts of goodies about what's coming up in movies.

There's also all my Yahoo Groups I'm a part of, my site (which is way outdated but I like to check the hit counter), CNN and MSNBC first thing in the morning to catch up on the news, and eBay.

I follow my hobbies; travel and sports.

www.lonelyplanet.com is a great place to get info on "budget" travel.

www.jjhuddle.com is a local Ohio sports board.

Other than that, I'm either hunting for freeware, math sites, or doing educational research.

Besides the aforementioned comic news sites:

www.nytimes.com - they've had their problems, but I still have a reasonable degree of trust in the Times.

www.counterpunch.org - Interesting take on current events. I don't agree with everything on there but it's good to know that not everyone is buying what the Neocons are selling.

For true-crime stuff:

I always start off w/ drudgereport.com. Then I come straight here as of late. I'll check the JLA,Legion and OtherDC boards at DCMessage Boards, but the bugginess is driving me nuts so I don't bother to post anymore. Even though I rarely watch wrestling anymore, I still check out 411mania.com to see the latest news. There's some hilarious wrestling reviewers there, and they've recently been reviewing comics too (Legion #22 got a 0/10 [Mad] ) so I just rely on them to give me my comics news. I love snopes.com to set me straight on my urban legends so I can be a know-it-all around my friends. ("Oh, please. You're not falling for THAT story are you?") And then I rely on foxnews.com for the latest in current events.

My morning ritual is to hit the following websites in this order:

1. Yahoo Mail
2. DC Boards (but only to peek at Legion and Titans)
3. Comics Continuum
4. E!Online
5. Geoff Johns boards (but usually only to peek at Titans)
6. The Pulse
7. George Perez dot com
8. Rob Kamphausen's boards (but mostly just to read his journal)
9. and finally LegionWorld, which I save for last cuz there's much more to see here, so it finishes off the morning routine nicely [Smile]

By this time my morning coffee is gone, and I can start working [Big Grin]

What a morning schedule, Cru! I usually check the Comics Continuum once in awhile, read a daily webcomic or two, and then Legion World it out. I save e-mail checking for later in the day usually. I used to frequent X-Fan until it became ComiX-Fan, where now it just seems to get behind in the news and posts articles that are abundant on other websites. Still love the place and check it out time to time, but mostly for the forums.

Well, in all fairness, most of those stops only take a second. Comics Continuum doesn't have things that interest me every day, so half the time I don't go beyond the main page. And Rob doesn't usually update his journal until mid-morning, so that usually doesn't have anything until my lunch break check. Stuff like that. So the only checks that slow me down every day are my email and Legion World. Everything else just takes a minute to check out.

I hit a lot of alternative financial sites. Not 'cause I've got any money - the markets are the greatest show on Earth. Not even a master of science fiction could have dreamed up what's happening with the economy these days.
