Caliente thanks! I use MS Paint and on my old PC it used to have an option to make the backgrounds clear. On the new one it doesn't. I do save them as gif and I still don't get the option. If you want to do me a favor (or anyone else) please try and do it for me. If it works email them to me. Thanks.

Lone Wolf, thanks as well. I will try to get Molecule Master done soon. Wildfire's origin reprint was in Tales was very exciting for me. Love that issue and MM.

Not happy with how Violet came out. Maybe it's my distaste for the costume. Same with Ultra Boy. The others I like. You know the go-go Violet look reminds me of Duo Damsel's new look in the animated series.

BUT I was lucky it was a long weekend due to the holiday. That is why i had time. My wife had to work Fri & Saturday and my daughter was with her mom.

Hey guys it took me a week to muster up these three. Woke up early and hunger over just to do Spider-Girl. It's an obsesssion.

Not happy with Earth Man so I might play around with him. I also forgot the Superman arm bands on them. I am very happy with Spider-Girl. Storm Boy and Radiation Roy hopefully coming sooner than later.

I admit I have no desire to make Rad Roy. The costume is just too hard. Maybe if it was a character I liked more I would do a better job.

I cannibalized an Iron Monger from micromaker (& founder!) Bobster. I hate it and maybe I will go back and make a proper Rad Roy. If you guys like it it's because the original IM micro rocked!

Guess who? I like how the costume came out. The hair? Eh, I gave up after a few different tries. Also couldn't decide what boots to give him.

I think Radiation Roy came out fine. So did Brek's hair. These look good, Jorge!

Night Girl! Again happy with the costume but not the hair. The micro looks less slutty than the comic version.

And here is Lightning Lass! I'm a bit off with the with the skirt and waist area but it looks better than the fixed version so I kept it. Her hair in the comic is really great and I couldn't duplicate it. A hair stylist I am not.

Any ideas for a new costume for Tyroc? I don't like the white threads. His costume is so...jail-glamor, ugh! I'd like to try something entirely new!

Any ideas? I'd take ideas based on his original costume, np. I might be able to make it work. But new costume ideas will be welcomed as well. All you costume designers help!

Some of my Tyroc ideas are...

A futuristic jumpsuit of sorts. Very modern, very streamlined. Sadly whenever I think of Tyroc in it I think of Jacques instead. More his style.

Egyptian? A futuristic egyptian inspired costume?

Cleric? A more spiritual look? Simple yet powerful.

Tattoos? White tats on his black skin would be great but I think a current Young X-Man has that(Nezhno?).

Armor? A more warrior look.

A mouth mask? Something else else covering his mouth to help him control his power?

All right my head hurts from brainstorming. I'm leaning towards a futuristic cleric-warrior look and the mouth mask sounds cool as well.

And here is Soljer. (i thought I would get a flood of LWer Tyroc ideas. Oh well.)

I think it's pretty hard to update Tyroc's costume. I know I have never had a moment of inspiration.

this this version I did a ballion years ago...Its a bit "Dazzler" but hey...I like it.

Joeboy, it's very Dazzler! Still I might make a micro for fun. As Sketch Lad said...updating a costume for Tyroc isn't easy.

For Tyroc I'd suggest kind of a futuristic Kanye West kind of look. Definitely with large shades and popped collar. Retro-futuristic mixed with Prep-Hop, maybe?

I messed around with an existing Tyroc micro,and this is what I came up with,I know you said you wanted to come up with a new look for him though,Also I know that in Mike Grell's original design for Tyroc he had him in a tunic kind of like Robin's at the bottom separate from the trunks,I think maybe I should have went with another color besides blue,he kind of looks like Moses Magnum from the X-Men.

LWL, I like it. But I'm going to try something different. The tunic with seperate trunks is exactly what I'm thinking about.

P.S. He does look like Moses Magnum!

Yeah I guess that is my version of what if Dave Cockrum designed Tyroc instead of Mike Grell.

That's a good description Lone Wolf. I've only read a few issues with Tyroc actually in them. Maybe I'll go back and read more to get a better feel.

Trying to go for a cleric-warrior look with a tunic over a modern costume. He looks like a Mortal Kombat reject. Black Raiden-Scorpion! Mortal Kombat though is actually what I'm thinking for Ty but this was bad.

Color scheme: I don't mind the white and black but I want to throw another color in there. I decided blue is the best bet (as did Lone Wolf).

Also I like the idea of his mouth covered but not sure if it will look good. Maybe a metallic guard over his mouth?

No problem Jorge, all I did was just keep his original design and add tweaks to it,there is no way I could come up with something from scratch as you did.

Did one I admit I have fallen in love with. I know the Egyptian-scifi stuff has been done to death BUT I thought it would fit Tyroc. And it's just egyptian influenced but doesn't have any real egyptian elements. It's a toga with metal accents. Kind of like his original costume.

Interesting, Jorge! I don't recall any Egyptian link suggested for Tyroc before. Lots of possibilities there. The one with the mouth mask is different, too.

Nice,Jorge I like it as well,and am glad that you have a Tyroc costume that you are happy with,as Sketch Lad said above it is hard to update his costume.

Quake Kid. Easy costume just the way I like it. Did we ever see him again? His costume looks just the Marvel's Guardsman except it's not armor.

Marvel's Hercules is one of my favorite characters. I had an itch to do him and I picked one of my favorite costumes. I have a handful of his costumes I want to do.

Hercules' evil brother and now anti-hero Ares! I liked how this one came out except the boots. I have to do his helmet though.

Another nice job Jorge,I did this Cockrum version of Powerboy,I don't know how to do micro's so I edit existing ones on my photoshop using pieces of them that fit and then I recolor them.



I don't like how the boots came out need more practice I guess.

I'd still like to see your version of the Outsider's and Strangers one of these day's,As I am just an amateur and you my friend are the Micro Master,It took me awhile to do this I used Tyroc's head and hands,Crystal Kid's Sleeve's,Brainiac 5's belt,Soljier's boots,Don Allon's coller and Molecule Master's emblem and went from there.So I appreciate how much work you put into your Micro's,And I Thank you Jorge.
