Somebody's going to have to start a thread for this.
Though I can sort of understand why some are reluctant to, since this does seem to be one of those 'charnel house' titles.
Frankly, the official Terror Titans bore me. Though Dreadbolt seems to be getting a characterization that's interesting-- introducing shades of gray?
Or yellow?
A new Star-Spangled Kid? Lord, I hope he gets a story and survives the series.
All those 'one year later' Titans, with the exception of Zatara, and the ones that have regularly been appearing in Teen Titans (Miss Martian and Kid (Red) Devil) seem like so much fodder for another bloodbath.
Sigh.
Here, the victims are <span class="spoiler_containter"><span class="spoiler_wording">Click Here For A Spoiler</span><span class="spoiler_text"> Molecule and Fever, from the next-to-last... no the one before that... version of the DOOM PATROL. </span></span>
Clock King and Ravager have a twisted connection that seems to be the heart of this title. It's actually pretty interesting, if you can get past the blood being spilled.
DC sure has it's sure of bloodsport fans, doesn't it? This makes- what- the fourth? fifth? underground arena in the past few years?
Time to consolidate these disparite entities into one circuit would be a good idea. Have a big ol' tournament, then put the idea to rest for a decade or so.
Why must they kill them all...WHY....
They need to Merge Terror Titans with the remnants of Deathstrokes Titans...It would make for fun...
SPOILERS:
These aren't death matches, says Sean McKeevers, though there is blood. Lots of blood. Just ask TNTeena.
And the winners are...
Pristine, Terra, Aquagirl, Ravager, Hardrock, Young Frankenstein, Star-Spangled Kid, and Argent.
Spoilers:
The winners of the next round are...
Terra, Ravager, Hardrock, and Star-Spangled Kid.
And, in our match-up between...
Bolt VS Dreadbolt
The winner was...
...
...
Terry Bolatinsky, the new Bolt.
Thanks for keeping us up-to-date with the outcomes.
Clock King also mentioned that TNTeena got her fingers re-attached and that she'll be important later on.
Wow, Ravager keeps winning. What a shock. You'd almost think she was the star of the book...
Is it just me or is anyone else bored with the whole concept of villians capturing superheroes, drugging/brainwashing them, and making them fight each other?
About Teena, this might be a longshot, what if she's related to the original Copperhead in some way, and Nathan, the Copperhead with the Terror Titans, has to nurse her back to health in order to fight her for the mantle of Copperhead, even though she isn't using it, or might not know about it. Either way, longshot.
The 2nd round winners are: Terra, Ravager, Hardrock, and StarSpangled Kid - - - makes me think that it's way too obvious that the Ravager would win the tournament if she beats Static Shock in the next issue. Too predictable - I foresee that Ravager will beat Star Spangled Kid in the final round. Or... i am hoping for the misdirection...that SSK would be the winner. I want to know more about SSK, the Face, Pristine...they're interesting.
Also forgot to mention that the Infinity Inc members make an appearance.
What I'd like to know is why Pristine's powers manifest in the form of that blue eye. What is that, a Sapphire Eye? Topaz Eye? Zircon? Aquamarine? What?
Oh, and apparently Sapphire DID win.
And, Argent has survived Terror Titans. She was in Final Crisis #5
I thought it was the Emerald Eye of Ekron, giving Pristine and Persuader BOTH Legion connections.
I read TERROR TITANS 1-3 in one sit last night, and I... liked them. I like that Rose is a badass. Nice art from the former Hawkman and BOP guy.
Disrupter's going to take Clock King down somwhow, I'll bet.
Static was a nice surprise. I also enjoyed the Milestone heroes popping up in JLoA as well.
"Fight Club" stuff is going to have to be consolidated though, as ML stays above. Give it to either Clock King or Mr. Terriffic's relative (what WAS her name again...?) from JSA.
I liked the 'forced fight club' eps of the AMGEL and BOP TV series, but those are separate continuities. Can't have 6 different blood-sport hero-drugging arenas going on in the DCU's USA.
And, it appears Zatara survives. He's in Superman #863. Although I don't know if that takes place BEFORE or AFTER Terror Titans.
Copperhead has won the title of Fuc%ed Up Teen Character of the New Year.

Yeah- I liked the storytelling on that page, though.
What is the deal with Star-Spangled Kid? They're being a tad too coy.
Is it Robin?
About Terra- does this take place after her miniseries? She's supposed to be a supporting character in the POWER GIRL series, isn't she? Or is that fancasting?
Yes. It's after Terra.
I really wish I could've picked this up if it wasn't for that placement test.
I read # 4...
And it was good. I'm glad this mini hasn't been a stinker. The Terror Titans arc in the regular book was so unexpectedly good I was afraid spinning off into a mini was too much too soon. Shouldn't have worried.
So, with #5 having been out for a while...
Disruptor: Angelica Smith was abandoned as a baby. After a hobo found her inside a trashcan, she was placed in an orphanage, where she quickly demonstrated what a ruthless b!tch she really is when she held a knife on someone just for a chocolate bar. A rather vicious thing, she was eventually adopted by a couple, in her teens, but grew jealous of her stepmother and snapped her neck day. She was sent to prison, or a correctional facility, some time after.
And the winner is...
...
...
...
...
Star-Spangled Kid.
and the apparent death of TNTeena.
Yeah, I mean, what the hell did he do to her?
Darn it, <span class="spoiler_containter"><span class="spoiler_wording">Click Here For A Spoiler</span><span class="spoiler_text"> I wanted a new Star-Spangled Kid in the DCU. </span></span>
Clock King's now a villain I want to read about- hope it's not long till he reappears, and that this miniseries isn't forgotten when he does.
I have a feeling most of these characters will be fading into limbo, unfortunately.
Sarcasm Kid - <span class="spoiler_containter"><span class="spoiler_wording">Click Here For A Spoiler</span><span class="spoiler_text">Copperhead put a device to "melt" or "boil" TNTeena into death.
Pristine bit the dust, as according to Seth in Comic Bloc Message Board. Disruptor was killed by Clock King.
</span></span>
SSK is not who he seems to be. It's..........
<span class="spoiler_containter"><span class="spoiler_wording">Click Here For A Spoiler</span><span class="spoiler_text">Miss Martian. Ravager knew it right away when SSK/Miss Martian was fighting in the first round.</span></span>
I know. I read the issue. And now I never get to find out what was with that eye. Ah well. Who knows?
Ah. So, I just learned Pristine's eye is a physical manifestation of her TK. Who knew?
Now then, the death toll has been...
*Molecule
*Fever
*Bolt
*Steppenwolf
*Vunderbarr
*TNTeena
*Persuader's Father
*Pristine
*Disruptor
9. Not counting flashbacks.
Didio just announced that Ravager will get her own back up feature in Teen Titans starting this summer. The price will go up to $3.99, but you'll get a second story each month, featuring the lethal lady.
Hmmm... I was planning to pick up Teen Titans again when the Deathtrap arc ends, and I do love Ravager, but I'm not sure if I love her that much. I think I have to make some tough decisions regarding books in the next few months.
Ulp, another of the new metahumans bit the dust in Teen Titans #69.

The Face is the first casualty of Deathtrap. But I'm not surprised, he was a lewd and crude jerk. And, apparently, he could fire energy blasts from his, uh, face.
