Bah! Forget those goofy boy/girl/lad/lass/kid names! The Legion should've had more characters called "Sir"-this and "Miss"-that!

Er... then again, maybe not.
Hmmmm. Miss Taken - has the power to possess people (ala Jericho of the Teen Titans and Karma of the New Mutants)

Sir Plus - has the power to duplicate himself (rejected as duplicating Duo Damsel's power)
Sir Vival might have been a cool alternative name for Matter-Eater Lad!
Miss Sing Link could've been a female Evolvo Lad.

Oh, I didn't mean to claim it was "cooler", just that it was also cool! Though much less so!
Miss Step - can teleport seven leagues in a single stride!

Sir Tin Doom - turns into a metal-armored juggernaut

Miss Tree - if a tree falls on you in the spaceport, do you make a sound?

Miss Information - she can answer any question to which the answer is written down / transcribed / recorded anywhere in the universe, although she has to stop and close her eyes to 'look it up.'

Sir Cular - a literal driedel, he's able to whirl so fast that he can spin right out of this dimension! But he usually just whirlygigs through his foes at the center of his own personal whirlwind.
To commit the unforgivable offense of taking the question seriously...

I don't recall 'Sir' ever being a viable part of a superhero's name. Even Sir Justin/Sir Ystin went by 'Shining Knight'. The only other 'Sir' I remember is 'Big Sir', which, come on.

But 'Miss' has some history to it. Miss America, Miss Martian. There was a Miss Liberty, right? So I could see a Legionnaire with such a name.
Miss Apprehension captures all the bad guys, although she has a bad feeling about it.

Sorry Matthew, I can't be serious about this thread.
Hmm... perhaps we *do* need to rally behind "Sir" as a viable super-hero name prefix!

I'll have to think of a new character...
Miss Sippy could have super sucky powers.
And I just like the idea of a Sir Loin.
There's always Sir Osis of Liver.
And Sir Cumcisser will get a feared reputation in no time at all.
But Sir Cumspect will never get to the point.
Sir Geon - Operates with doctor-like precision

Sir Men - Very preachy

Miss Ing - Now you see her, now you don't

Miss Q - Calamity King has nothing on her

Actually, wouldn't she have the power to become a river and then just keep rolling on?
Miss Sing Link - aka Evolvo Lass

Miss Fire - aka Sun Girl

What, you don't remember Sir Prize, who was later revealed to be another Legionnaire (in the Adventure era)?
Sir Ene: Some also call him "Dr. Feelgood", Sir Ene has the power to relax sentients.

Miss Shin Impossible: Your go-to gal for super-impossible feat-performing.

Heh. Heh heh heh... heh heh hehBWAHhahaha! lol I like these a lot. I want to invite Sir Men to my next party, maybe introduce him to Sir Ene.
And who could forget that 31st-cen descendant of Tarzan... SIR LOINCLOTH...?
Sir Viss. He'll take care of your needs.
Sir Pent. He has a nasty bite.
Sir Cus. He puts on an amazing show.
Miss Represented. She'll fool you.
Miss Read. She won't understand you.
Miss Quoted. That's not what she meant!
Miss Fire. She doesn't quite hit the target.
Miss Cast. She's wrong for the part.
Miss Match. Her biggest enemy...Plaid Lad!
Miss Hap. Did someone already mention Calamity King?
Mis Fit. She doesn't belong.
Miss Thing. G'On girl!
What about the counterparts for "Miss" & "Sir"? Certainly we could have a Master Blaster or a Madam Mayhem.
Two whole pages and no-one's thought of Sir Ender

I give UP!
lol lol

Oh but then some wag would propose a descendent of Aquaman with super-fishing-powers, named Master Baiter...
