Looks like Mysa makes her debut and those eyes probably belong to Mordru.
That is one effective composition.
Mysa, Mordru and Nemesis Kid, all on the same cover!
That cover... a real breakthrough for a Johnny DC... Someone's definitely working overtime!
HOLY CRAP!! @__@!! i am totally looking forward to this!! it looks intense!
wow! can't wait to read it!
This issue was packed with a lot of goodies! There was so much to like about this issue!

We find out that this takes place after Season. Brainy has returned from his leave of absence but he is still an android. He is also team leader and Saturn Girl is second-in-command.

Garth is back to his Season 1 hot-headed self. He takes a verbal jab at Brainiac 5 and says that Brainy might turn on them again. I’m glad that Superman sticks up for B5.

I think that Brainy is so much nicer than his other Legion comic book incarnations. He steps aside and says “Ladies first” to Saturn Girl and the White Witch. At the end, he takes responsibility for his actions and tries to resign as leader. I love how Saturn Girl and Bouncing Boy are supportive of him.

The cancellation of this series couldn’t have come at a worse time! These last few issues have been solid.
yea the cartoon really gave me the impression that he was the most polite and genteel boy in the universe. we see his sarcasm start up a bit in the last season though.

BUT... actually... the original b5 was actually very much like this, very emotional and sweet, and very apologetic for things (especially things that aren't his cute green fault). so actually, cartoon b5 and the 1960s b5 are similar in this respect.

ahhh in this issue, there was a...continuity problem here if i'm reading this correctly? they seem to be referencing the occurrence at the end of season 2 as happening in the past, saying querl left and came back and became leader, etc. but... then why does querl look like his former self? ;_; this totally bummed me out, i was looking forward to see humanized querl's adorable face in the comic before this series was over. *sobs forever*

I don't like the continuing not finished in the issue endings, but at least they tied up the last issue's loose ends before making more for next issue. So, in a sense the story was more episodic than a continuing arc. It definitely feels like the series is nearing its end as you read. Just hope the end doesn't leave everything up in the air as well. We did finally get an idea of when these stories take place. Looks like Kell-El already went home (and may never appear in the comic), but Superman stayed for some unknown reason. The main problem I had with this story was that Brainiac 5 was back in his previous form. It doesn't follow continuity with the TV show and I really prefer with any material based on an original that it follow continuity. The only way I can see the two versions fit together based on what we learned in this issue of the comic is that Brainiac 5 went off for a while, rethought his transformation and turned himself back into an android. That's kind of anticlimatic after all the mess he went through in the shows and the TV series ending with him becoming humanoid (like every other incarnation of Brainiac 5). I found that part extremely disappointing. The major storyline was good and I enjoyed reading it. The plot was good. I found myself wanting to know more about Nemesis Kid and his powers after Brainiac 5 and Mysa postulated their might be some magic in the origin of his powers. I also found myself wanting more background material and to know about some of the others and how they got their powers. Would have made some good stories for a continuing comic book, but I have a feeling they wouldn't follow that track even if the issues were to continue. I'm definitely left wanting to read more of the TV Legion's adventures, I just wish the continuity with the original series was better.
