It got me to thinking that if some brave and tech-savvy soul is up to it, we could do our own Legion Wordle (Lerdle?) with words such as DREAM, SUPER, KRINN, QUERL, and TITAN.

Here's mine. I'll have to figure out a way to display these if this becomes a thing.

It took me all six tries to get there

Five for me. And of course I immediately thought of the Legion connection once I got it.

Exactly! Which is why I was frustrated for not getting it sooner!

Wordle 238 6/6

Three for me but I'm not sure if I am doing the same one. Am I seeing the same connection the rest of you are? I wonder if I am doing the next day's puzzle on the main nytimes site. The last one up on Wordle Archive for me is Day 237 11th Feb which took me four turns but has no connection I can think of. Not sure if time zones are screwing it up and the two sites are on different update cycles and I have to wait another day to see one between.

The Legion connection is on Day 238.

Today's Wordle (2/13) has another DC connection. I got in in 4/6.

I noticed that too, and it STILL took me 5 tries!

My starting word didn't really help, nor did my backup! I'm too scared to try hard mode!

Aha! Yes timing makes me a day ahead somehow. Got 238 in 3 goes when my first word has 3 hits in the wrong place. Struggling with how they could fit I placed a definite wrong answer in the second line to try and find more clues which gave me the middle letter. It took me ages to think of putting the correct letter in the first position - and then for some crazy reason I couldn't think of the Legion connection until it slapped me in the face!


So yes my first game (yesterday for me) is the DC connection which also took me 3, and today's word (with no connection I can think of although I wonder if there was ever a super-villain who would use this) took 5.


(Just read over what I wrote and I don't blame anyone if it doesn't make sense - it hardly makes sense to me!)

I guess technically today's Wordle (2/22/22) is Legion related too.

I was disappointed that 247 had no Legion connection.
