HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BRM!
Thank you, fellow LegionWorlders!
Alas, mostly work, not much play today; but I appreciate the thought!
Not old enough to play Senex yet ...
"Women often want a father,
She may want mine -- it's possible!"
"He's a handsome lad of twenty,
I'm -- thirty-nine! It's possible!"
"Older men know so much more ..."
"In a way, i'm forty-four ..."
"Next to him, I'd seem a bore!"
"All right, fifty!"
Happy Bday BRM!
Happy Belated, you of the busted bike rehabilitation crew!

One candle on your cake for every bicycle repaired this year! (Fortunately, the cake is very big.)
Have a wonderful birthday and less work, more play this year.

Not when Pov's making puns like
that, I'm not!

I don't have any good quotes involving the number 45, so how about some
pictures instead?
These are from
Brown University Gilbert and Sullivan 's production of "Trial By Jury" from last month, in which I played the Learned Judge (photos taken & posted by the director's father). They'll be doing "Patience" for the fall semester, so I'll probably stop posting in about three weeks when rehearsals for that start!
Is that you at the red podium with the sheep on your head?
Sheep... once on the head, forever in Cobie's bed...
Another year, but a brand new cake. That frosting just looks like chain grease... trust me, it's good!
So, Lo3W came out on your birthday last year. They should have delayed it another month, to wrap up the series on this year's birthday.
Happy B-day! Could you straighten out my handlebars?
Health and Happiness Always!
All the best to you this year!
Happy B(RM)day!

Close e-freakin-
nough!
Thank you, fellow Legion Worlders!
Last year, pictures; this year,
video!Clips from the BUGS production of "Patience" (in which I played the Duke) have been posted to YouTube.
This link should take you to the table-of-contents page, and
this link should take you directly to the clip of "If Saphir I Choose To Marry", a quintet in which the Duke is the featured singer. Regrettably, stage lighting is not well suited to the needs of video recording, so our faces are usually white blobs; but you can still admire the choreography!
Were you the one who gave away the two ladies at the end? Very sporting of you.
Happy birthday, BRM.
This year Patience, next year, he rides that bicycle.
Legion World really does have talent!

Yes, the Duke ends up pairing off with someone else at the end of "Patience"; you can find out who by playing the clip of the Act 2 finale.
"My love without reflecting,
Oh, do not be rejecting!
Take a maiden tender, her affection raw and green,
At very highest rating,
Has been accumulating,
Summers seventeen, summers seventeen.
Don't, beloved master,
Crush me with disaster.
What is such a dower to the dower I have here?
My love unabating
Has been accumulating
Forty-seven year, forty-seven year!"
-Ruth,
The Pirates of Penzance I've not been around much this past year, but Legion World retains a place in my heart (which is now as old as Ruth's).
The link below leads to a page with clips from the BUGS fall 2009 production,
The Gondoliers, in which I played the Duke of Plaza-Toro.
www.youtube.com/user/OvrThWallProductions The menu seems to list the clips in reverse order from that in which they occurred in the show.
Happy birthday. chum!
It's good to see you, when you can make it!
Happy Birthday, BRM.
My last post before this one was partly about Disney ducks. Spooky.
Happy birthday, BRM.
Loved the clip.
Happy Birthday! Glad to see you here! Please visit often.
Happy B-day! Best wishes!
Health & Happiness Always!

You can bring it around to the Repair Shop of Solitude tomorrow. I'm taking today off.
Happy birthday! Have a great day off
Hope you had a GREAT Birthday bud!
[A. Hakim] FIFTY-ONE! [/A. Hakim]
[C. Brown] AAAUUUUUGHHH!!! [/C. Brown]
On my birthday, this year:
Multiversity # 1, and Little Nemo: Return To Slumberland # 1.
A competition to see who can be more surreal, Morrison or Shanower.
I guess Morrison won, because the plot to Little Nemo was easier to follow.
Belated happy birthday, BRM! Wow, it's been years! Good to have you back, more often I hope.
Multiversity AND Little Nemo, sounds like an enjoyable day.
Glad you had two new comics you enjoyed on your birthday. And I echo Ibby in that I hope you'll be around more often.
Have a great birthday, BRM!
Happy Birthday.
Thank you, fellow LegionWorlders.
I haven't been around much lately; my home computer is out of order, and I've been so busy with work the past couple of months that I haven't had time to deal with getting it repaired. So I come to the library once or twice a week to check my personal email account, look at Facebook, and, if I have any time left, visit other sites.
And now, a disclaimer:
I am not now, nor have I ever been, an employee of TimeWarner, DC Comics, or any other TimeWarner subsidiary.
Reading comics at the age of 52 does not necessarily constitute an endorsement of "The New52".
Batgirl needs some work on shifting up a gear on her Bat-bike and her title.
Grimbor comes in to chat about chains for his new master plan, but really it's all about Charma.
Bouncing Boy comes in for a puncture repair kit and marriage advice.
Starfire has a flat...something or other.
All lost souls in the DCUniverse. Yet, all find themselves drawn to the same solitary shop.
Bicycle Repair Man. Only from DCNu!
"Servicing? Nah, you must be thinking of a Vertigo title, mate."
Is it a Stockbroker?
Is it a Quantity Surveyor?
Is it a Churchwarden?
No!
It's a Giant Happy Birthday sign made of bicycles falling from the skies!
>CRASH<
That's going to need some repairs! if only we had a hero who could help...!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRM!
Happy Birthday, BRM! Hope it's Python-tastic and completely different!
Happy birthday. By the way, I still haven't seen that old schwinn i sent you for repai...oh, wait, that was a pint of Swahns Ice Cream. Never mind.
Thank you, fellow LegionWorlders.
More computer troubles this summer, I think I'm going to have to give up and replace it this time ...
Happy belated birthday BRM!
