I was wondering if there is a way to obtain a list of threads I have started in order to go back and read them. I know individual searches can be done on given topics, but what I'm really looking for is a complilation of threads I began.
HELP!
PG, click on "directory" in the top right corner. Type your user name in the "Displayed Name" field, then click on "Search Members." You'll see a bar that indicates you have 296 posts. If you click on the number 296 (or whatever it currently is), you'll get a listing of all of your posts, from the most recent to the earliest. You can find your threads through that listing.
Thanks so much, just tried it and it worked.
Does this only do the last 50 of your posts? That's what I've always thought but maybe I'm missing something.
As far as I know, you can search for either your last 50 posts, your last 50 topics started, or your last 50 topics participated in.
Apparently, I've only started 50 topics since Dec. 10!
I think you're right, Cobie: It does list only the last 50 posts. However, if you click on the "topics started" link on the right-hand corner of the Most Recent Activity page, you'll get a list of the last 50 topics you started. (My list goes back to 2007; obviously, I don't start that many topics.)
I know Pofo used to create other statistics lists too in the early days but I can't recall if the board let him do that or if he had to actually go in there and create them manually. Things like "Top 50 Largest Threads" and such to see what were the most active threads on LW. This was before any were anywhere near the 2,000 post mark.
